10:00 Sightseeing tour of the center of New Year's Kostroma.

The main square of the city is the heart of Kostroma, its business card is Susaninskaya Square, popularly called "frying pan". 

Along the perimeter of the square there are the most elegant and representative buildings of the late classicism era of the nineteenth century: Borshchov's house, provincial offices, guardhouse, fire tower — the best fire tower in the Russian province is in the northern part of the square, and on the opposite side, on the site of the old auction, there are about 15 stone rows. 

The largest Red rows with the Church of the Savior built into them and Large Flour Rows. 

And for the first time, a century later, the revived golden dome of the bell tower of the Assumption Cathedral of the former Kostroma Kremlin rises.

12:30 Excursion to the cheese Museum with the program "Cheese stories". 

An extensive exposition on the world history of cheese making is presented in an ancient merchant's mansion of the late XVIII century (Reschikov house).

In this hall, the characters of Slavic myths and legends come to life in metal. 

17:00 Snow Maiden's Tower. 

Bayun the cat and his brownie assistants will show the house where the Snow Maiden and her fairy—tale friends live, tell about miracles, Berendeyev legends and traditions. 

You will see a puppet tale about the Snow Maiden and, most importantly, get to know the Snow Maiden herself, touch the ancient tale of the Snow Maiden with your soul.

11:00 Thematic excursion "Where moose live" to the Sumarokovsky moose sanctuary.

Not far from Kostroma, the Sumarokovskaya moose farm is located in a picturesque place. 

No cages — you will be amazed at the friendly atmosphere of the reserve, you will see how the animals are taken care of. 

Treat the growing moose calves with carrots and even be able to pet and take pictures with the most curious. 

You will have a close conversation not only with moose and moose calves, but also with the farm staff. They will tell a lot of amazing facts: how and why moose come to this farm, which moose is the most beautiful for a male, why all moose calves here have a human mother, whom they recognize even when they grow up, and why it is impossible to tame an elk.

The architectural, ethnographic and landscape museum-reserve outside the walls of the Ipatievsky Monastery is one of the most popular and vibrant places of the Golden Ring of Russia, an open-air museum of wooden architecture. 

Kostroma Sloboda is a one—street village on the banks of the Igumenka river with peasant huts of various incomes, barns, baths on stilts and churches of the early XVIII century. 

In her room, the Snow Maiden treats everyone to tea with gingerbread.
