Wine and gastronomic tour of the Krasnodar Territory

Today we have breakfast at our hotel and go to Russia's first gravity winery, Chateau Pinot.

What does "gravitational" mean? And we'll find out on the tour.

We will walk through the vineyards, get acquainted with the peculiarities of the local terroir and the subtleties of grape cultivation.

We will also take a look at the local snail farm, where we will observe the measured life of snails in special houses that have been built for them here.

The farm is located at an altitude of 260 meters above sea level, surrounded by mountains.

At first glance, this place is fascinating: the panoramic view of the sea, framed by emerald hills, creates a unique atmosphere of peace and harmony.

After an exciting tour, we will go for a tasting — 6 premium wines are waiting for us.

An individual approach to different varieties, hand-picked, careful transportation and highly qualified winemakers allow Chateau Pinot to be proud of every bottle of wine produced at the winery.

As an exquisite accompaniment to the wine, escargots are delicious snails baked in two original sauces.

The dish will be a spectacular addition to the tasting, revealing new facets of flavors and bouquets.

Let's move on! We are heading to one of the oldest wineries in the country with a rich history that dates back to 1869, Myshako.

Today, Myshako wines are made in the French style and feature an elegant and complex bouquet.

We will visit the historical cellars of the 19th century and ancient halls, look into the production halls, where we will gradually see the entire cycle of wine creation — from grape processing to fermentation, aging and final bottling of still and sparkling wines.

We continue to immerse ourselves in the world of winemaking and taste discoveries.

Next up we have a VIP tasting: 8 fine wines from the chef sommelier and 8 gastronomic pairs from the chef.

This dinner will definitely conquer even the most sophisticated connoisseurs and leave an indelible impression!

We offer you a look at the exquisite menu — a real feast for gourmets!

Refined snacks: protein roll with eel, verrine with tiger shrimp and vegetable tartare, Far Eastern scallop with cream celery and green apple, baked almond Camembert with spicy pear and black currant.

Hot dishes: Thai-style veal with vegetables on crispy Romaine leaves and poses with lamb and cherry Marcelan sauce.

I just want to try everything as soon as possible!

Great signature desserts: cheese panna cotta with baked beetroot and salted grapes and the author's "Tropical Kiss".

After an incredibly bright and unforgettable dinner, we check into a new stylish hotel located on the central promenade along the main embankment of Novorossiysk.

In the evening, we will have a short walk around Novorossiysk.

We will walk from the Malaya Zemlya Memorial to Cape Lyubov, discovering the main attractions along the way.

We will get acquainted with its rich history, visit iconic places and experience the unique atmosphere of the city by the sea.

And then we go to relax in our cozy rooms.

Today, after breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the fantastically beautiful Abrau Lake.

This place is called "little Switzerland", "Black Sea Champagne" and "Russian California" — without visas and passports!

We will have a scenic walk along the embankment: we will plunge into the atmosphere of peace and beauty, and at the same time take wonderful photos against the background of the emerald surface of the lake and green hills.

After the walk we will go to "Abrau‑Durso is the oldest wine—making enterprise in Russia.

The unique terroir of this region, in its climatic and soil characteristics, resembles the famous wine provinces of Bordeaux and Champagne, which makes it possible to create drinks of exceptional quality here.

We will be guided through ancient tunnels covered with legends, where, according to the assurances of the Champagnanists, the good spirit of the founder, Prince Golitsyn, is still invisibly present.

The legendary wine cellar will be shown, where rare wines of the outstanding Abrau-Durso vintages are kept to this day.

For the tasting of fine wines, we will move into the private atmosphere of the premium lounge, an ideal space to thoughtfully evaluate each drink.

A tasting of the Abrau Golden Collection awaits us.‑Durso": eight selected samples of sparkling and still wines.

After the tasting, we plan to have a Black Sea lunch at the gastronomic school, which we will prepare ourselves under the strict guidance of the head chef of the Abrau-Durso restaurants.

Let's start with a glass of sparkling wine to set the tone and mood for our exciting event.

For an appetizer, we will prepare a warm salad with Martin cheese — a delicate combination of flavors that will awaken the appetite. An exquisite dish awaits us for the hot meal: Black Sea rapan stewed in sour cream with potatoes.

These works of culinary art are worthy of special presentation, so the chef will help us decorate the dishes according to the canons of haute cuisine.

At the end of the cooking class, we will prepare a delicate shortbread tart with apples.

After that, we will be happy to taste all the dishes created, share our impressions, emotions and discuss the highlights of our gastronomic journey!

We are going to the Lefkadia Valley!

This is one of the most beautiful places in the Krasnodar Territory — a real pearl of the south of Russia.

The purest lake Gocepsin, lavender fields, truffle groves and endless vineyards.

Here we will spend the night in a hotel right in the middle of the picturesque hills, sycamore alleys and beautiful vineyards.

The cozy rooms are decorated in a minimalist Tuscan style.

A wonderful place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday for travelers who are in love with wine and aesthetics — just for us!

We check in, settle down and then go for dinner to a local restaurant, which is prepared exclusively from local products, choosing the freshest and tastiest.

There is a small vegetable garden right next to the restaurant: young vegetables and fresh herbs get into the dishes directly from the garden, giving them a unique taste and aroma.

We will taste the restaurant's signature "signature" dishes.

For an appetizer‑ the chef will present the author's hummus with fried lamb liver.

The creamy texture of hummus is harmoniously combined with juicy, browned pieces of liver.

Spicy notes and aromatic spices emphasize the richness of taste, turning a familiar snack into a gastronomic discovery.

The main course will be an exquisite goose leg, stewed to perfect tenderness.

Juicy meat with a perfect crust is perfectly complemented by stewed red cabbage.

Professional sommeliers have selected wine from the Nikolayev and Sons line for our dishes — rich malbec.

Its velvety tannins and fruity notes harmoniously complement each stage of the meal, revealing new facets of taste and giving the dinner a special mood.

The dessert will complete the gastronomic composition — an airy cheese mousse combined with a refreshing berry sorbet.

This sophisticated combination leaves a pleasant, memorable aftertaste and becomes an elegant final note of the meal.

A new batch of impressions and emotions awaits us ahead.

Today we have a leisurely breakfast in the courtyard of the hotel restaurant, admiring the vineyards, in a unique atmosphere of peace and anticipation of a new day.

The chefs will prepare homemade and lovingly prepared dishes from local farm products for us.

Warm air, aromas of flowering herbs, beautiful views and delicious food — a great morning!

After breakfast, we will have a sightseeing tour of the Lefkadia Valley, an aesthetic journey to "Russian" Tuscany, where Mediterranean comfort meets Black Sea hospitality.

Our route will pass through endless vineyards and picturesque sycamore and cypress alleys, we will see a French garden with lavender fields and the shore of the lake.

We will also be invited to a guided tour of the production, where we will be able to see high-tech equipment, oak barrels, amphorae and unusual fermentation tanks in the shape of a dodecahedron.

At the tasting of premium wines, we will be served a selection of cheeses produced in the Lefkadian Valley.

We will try tender varieties made from cow's milk, fragrant ones from sheep's milk and savory ones from goat's milk.

Each cheese will reveal its unique character in combination with noble wines, allowing you to truly appreciate the craftsmanship of local cheese makers and the richness of the terroir.

Next, we will go for lunch to the Nesterov Winery, where very rare grape varieties are grown: Viognier, Viorica, Ruby Golodrigi.

The restaurant at the winery is a real highlight of the project!

It is one of the top 3 establishments in the South of Russia according to "WhereToEat".

A talented chef creates here, who surprises guests with original food and bold flavor combinations.

For these gastronomic discoveries, people come here not only from the Krasnodar Territory, but also from other regions.

We will try the sea yam soup with tiger prawns, rapan and mullet, as well as pelengas fillet with basil puree, vegetable relish and truffle sauce.

As a wine accompaniment, it is a dry white wine, a Viorica variety from the Nesterov Winery.

For dessert, we will have the author's creme brulee ‑ a delicate vanilla base with a perfectly caramelized crust.

It is complemented by bright accents: refreshing mango and passion fruit gel, which gives a tropical sourness, and crisp "chocolate earth" — a refined texture that reveals a deep chocolate flavor.

After lunch, our destination will be the famous Sikory Estate winery.

Here we will have another dive into the world of premium winemaking.

During the tour we will get acquainted with the history of the estate and discover the subtleties of wine-making art.

The Sikory estate has rapidly established itself among the image leaders of Russian winemaking.

The farm's wines receive high marks in domestic and international expert ratings, and in 2021 the winery was included in the prestigious list of "The Best vineyards in the world", taking the honorable 20th place.

The highlight will be a tasting of five flagship wines, recognized sales leaders of recent years.

We will be located in an elegant hall with a panoramic view of the vineyards, which will create a special atmosphere and allow you to truly experience the harmony of wine and nature!

Now we are heading back to Gelendzhik.

We will return to the cozy hotel we already know — here you can relax, rethink vivid impressions and comfortably prepare for the final day.

Today we will have a free evening to spend it at our own pace.
