Ergaks without backpacks. 7-day tour

In the morning, after breakfast, departure for an excursion to the Stone Town — one of the most interesting, photogenic Ergak locations, but little visited!

Cross—country transportation - 35 km, then a walking section of about 4 km in one direction (easy trail, suitable for all levels of training).

According to legend, the Stone City is the remains of a fortified settlement of the ancient Sayan tribe. According to legend, it was here that their “mountain citadel” was located, destroyed by the enemies after the betrayal of one of their tribesmen.

The rock shapes resemble walls and towers, which makes the route especially atmospheric.

There is a lunch box, rest and photo spots on the route.

During the journey, we will cross the ford of the Oya River, which flows from the lake of the same name (which we visited yesterday).

Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

On the territory of the base there are baths, SPA complexes, massage, karaoke bar, etc.

In the morning we set off on one of the most famous routes — the Hanging Stone.

The length of the route is about 6 km in one direction. The trail is equipped with decking and ladders, which makes climbing comfortable and safe.

On the way we will see several key locations of the park at once.:

• Raduzhnoye Lake;
• Lake Karovoe;
• The Sleeping Sayan Rock is one of the symbols of the Ergaks.

For those who wish and are ready for an additional load, there will be an opportunity to climb higher — to the Artists' pass, from where you can see the valley of the Parabola rock.

While part of the group is climbing the pass, the rest can relax by the mountain lake and swim if desired.

The route is rich and completely photogenic — there are many points for pictures along the way.

For lunch, there is a lunch box.

Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

In the evening, there is a karaoke bar for those who want to spend the evening in company. Or you can go to the SPA pool!

After breakfast, departure from the recreation center to the starting point of the rafting. Transportation will take the group directly to the starting point of the route.

Today — rafting on the Us River. This is a calm and scenic route: the current speed is 6-12 km/ h, which allows you to comfortably enjoy the views. The river runs along mountains covered with dense taiga, and along the banks you can see a variety of flora and traces of wild fauna.

The region has a rich history: there was a “gold rush” here several centuries ago, ancient routes passed through these places, including traces of the Scythians and trade routes of the Silk Road.

The guide will tell you the basic facts along the way.

The route is suitable for all levels of training — without thresholds and difficult sections. At the end of the rafting, the group will have an ear and a picnic in nature.

Return to the recreation center after lunch. Free time.

After an easier day of rafting, the group sets off on the main trekking route of the tour.

Today it is the longest, but one of the most beautiful passages.

In the morning we start the journey to Lake Svetly, the main attraction of Ergakov. The route to the lake is about 9 km in one direction.

Along the way, there are views of iconic objects.:

• Bird Rock;
• Zvezdny rock (2,265 m — one of the highest in the area).

There will be time on the lake for relaxing, taking photos and swimming (optional).

For those who want to continue the route, it is proposed to climb another 1.5 km to the top of Mount Vidovaya (1920 m). From here you can see the Zvezdny rock, Zolotarny Lake and other peaks of the area.

The place is considered a point of strength — there are many stone structures built by travelers and local shamans.

After the descent, lunch at a campsite on Medvezhy Creek.

Return to the recreation center in the afternoon. Free time.

Today is a walking route to the Whale Rock.

The length is about 7 km in one direction (14 km total).

At the beginning of the path, the trail passes through a section of the century-old cedar taiga, then along the Malaya Buyba stream with clear mountain water.

After a short climb, we go out to Raduzhny Lake — from here you can enjoy views of Hanging Stone, Oreshek Peak and the Sleeping Sayan mountain range.

The route runs along the other, less popular side of Raduzhny Lake, which allows you to see locations from a new angle and take photos without people in the background.

Next, climb the kurumnik (stone placers) to the “head” The Sleeping Sayan trail follows an alternation of alpine meadows and small stone platforms. Here you can see the Sleeping Saiyan Massif as close as possible and “reach the hair-shaped peak.”

The final point of the route is Kit Rock, a geological shape with the outline of a marine giant. The observation deck offers a panorama of the valley of the Kebezh River, the Stone Castle, the Turtle Rock and the massifs of the Sleeping Sayan.

The total duration of the route is 9-10 hours.

The final day of the tour. After breakfast, departure to Abakan.

On the way, we make a stop at the Shushenskoye Museum-Reserve, one of the most atmospheric places in Southern Siberia.

This is a large open-air museum, where the life of Siberian peasants of the 19th century is completely recreated.:

• authentic huts and outbuildings;
• antique household items;
• crafts and tools;
• Pets;
• the unique atmosphere of the old village, where time seems to have stopped.

Here you can look into residential buildings, find out how families lived 150 years ago, see real stoves, spinning wheels, chests, rare items of clothing and utensils.

Many guests note that Shushenskoye is not just a museum, but an immersion: the feeling that you are inside the real Siberian history.
