The tour along the road to Peterhof introduces you to the picturesque landscape of the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland, the preserved estates of the St. Petersburg nobility and the history of the road specially built for a comfortable journey from St. Petersburg to Peterhof.
 
A tour of the Peterhof Fountain Park.

The lower park has an area of 102 hectares and stretches for more than 2 kilometers along the shore of the Gulf of Finland. It took incredible efforts to turn the deserted marshy coast of the Gulf of Finland into a luxurious park with fountains and cascades. Moreover, all the work was done manually – tons of fertile land were imported, ornamental trees and shrubs were planted, which were able to take root in the cold northern climate. Peterhof is the capital of fountains, a magical garden with a palace topped with a golden vase standing on the roof.  In terms of splendor and richness of decoration, Peterhof surpassed its prototype – the French Versailles and became the most striking palace ensemble in Europe.
 
Where to have lunch?

After the tour, you will have 1.5-2 hours of free time to walk around the park and have a snack on your own. There are fast food outlets on the territory of the park, as well as the Standart cafe, where the cost of a set lunch is 700-1500 rubles per person. If you want to save money, we recommend taking drinks and snacks with you and having a picnic on the shore of the Gulf of Finland.

Bus tour to Tsarskoye Selo "Suburban imperial residences".

The city is located 25 km from St. Petersburg - about an hour's drive away. You will drive along the old Tsarskoye Selo road and learn how you traveled in Russia before the advent of highways and railways. The magnificent and unique Catherine Palace brought special fame to Tsarskoye Selo. This is where you will visit.
 
Excursion to the Catherine Palace with the Amber Room.

Guests of Tsarskoye Selo are stunned by the fantastic luxury of the decoration of the Catherine Palace. One of the halls of Rastrelli's Golden Suite is the famous Amber Room, stolen by the occupiers during the Great Patriotic War and recreated by St. Petersburg restorers, whose work you can appreciate during a tour of the Catherine Palace.
 
A walk through the Catherine Park.

After the tour of the palace, you will have 1.5-2 hours of free time to walk around the magnificent park surrounding the palace on your own. Russian Russian Museum is decorated with exquisite pavilions, bizarrely shaped ponds and numerous monuments in honor of the victories of Russian weapons during the Russo-Turkish wars.

There are no full-fledged food outlets on the territory of the park, only outside it. Therefore, we recommend taking drinks and snacks with you and having a picnic while walking around Catherine Park.

The Hermitage occupies a very special place among the art museums of the world. It began as a private collection of Empress Catherine II and remained closed to the general public for a long time. In the middle of the 19th century, the museum became public. Now his collections number more than 3.5 million exhibits. Among them are masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Impressionist paintings, antique sculpture, Egyptian antiquities, a real mummy and much more.
 
After the tour of the museum, you will have the opportunity to walk around the halls of the Hermitage on your own and examine its exhibits in more detail.

The brilliance of gold and precious stones, which were used in their works by Faberge masters, is complemented in the museum's exposition by canvases by I. Aivazovsky, K. Bryullov, V. Polenov, jewelry enamels and fantasy objects. The jewel of the museum's collection is a collection of 9 imperial Faberge Easter eggs, which returned to their homeland after almost 100 years.

Bus tour to Kronstadt "Sea shield on the Baltic Sea".

The tour introduces a small proud city, the fame of which has gone far beyond its borders. Founded by Peter the Great, Kronstadt was for many years the defender of St. Petersburg from the sea and the main base of the Baltic Fleet. You will see monuments to great naval commanders, sea harbors, from where military campaigns, scientific expeditions and circumnavigations began.
 
Visit to St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral.

The Naval Cathedral in Kronstadt, consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, is the main naval temple of Russian sailors. It was built at the beginning of the XX century as a memorial temple to all sailors who died for the Fatherland. You will visit St. Nicholas Maritime Cathedral, where you will get acquainted with its unique interior decoration and marine relics.
 
Visit to the museum and historical park "Island of Forts".

This is the first and largest park in Russia dedicated to the Navy. There are several thematic sites on an area of 9 hectares. You can walk along the Alley of Heroes of the Russian Navy, which tells about more than three centuries of its history, explore the lighthouse of memory with 200 names of heroes-sailors, starting from the era of Peter I to the present day and look into the apple orchard with a pond.
 
A boat trip around the forts of Kronstadt.

A boat trip will be a great addition to an excursion to Kronstadt. You will walk along the main Kronstadt raid, see the fortress-forts that were built right in the water on artificial bases near Kotlin Island, breathe in the sea, but unsalted air of the Gulf of Finland!
