Itinerary

Day 1 - Kronstadt
Independent check-in. Check-in at the hotel after 14:00.
Which of the boys did not dream of becoming a sailor? A salty wind in the face, a cap, a vest and a fight with pirates on the deck… This day is dedicated to the dream and the city of Kronstadt.
Country trip to Kronstadt.
The excursion route includes an introduction to the complex of flood defenses, from where you can admire the panorama of the Gulf of Finland and see the famous Kronstadt forts.
During a sightseeing bus and walking tour of the city, you will visit the shore of the harbor, which has retained its configuration since Peter the Great, and walk along the alleys of Petrovsky Park.
You will see a monument to the founder of St. Petersburg and Kronstadt, a palace built for A.D. Menshikov, Petrovsky ship dock, the famous Kronstadt footstock, the Naval Cathedral and a number of other monuments of architecture, culture, science and technology that create a unique appearance of the city.
Transportation is provided for a country trip.
Day 2 - Walking tour and the Hermitage

In terms of the richness of cast-iron decoration, St. Petersburg has no equal in the world. The strict beauty of the lines of the fences of the Kazan Cathedral, the Mikhailovsky Garden, the openwork railings of embankments and bridges — this endless melody of metal "lace" is unique and one of the features of the Northern capital.
Excursion to the Church of the Resurrection of Christ (Spas on Blood), a unique monument to Emperor Alexander II the Liberator. The decoration of the temple is considered to be the rarest collection of Russian mosaic art in Russia.
An excursion to the Hermitage, a kind of temple of beauty, history and culture, will introduce you to the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo and other great masters.

The following excursion is available for an additional fee.
Visit to the historical theater-layout "Petrovsky Aquatoria", depicting St. Petersburg of the beginning of the XVIII century. Here you can watch the movement of 130 ships made according to historical models, watch fist fights during Maslenitsa and dances of the nobility at imperial receptions in Peterhof.
The uniqueness of the museum is that here you can see exact copies of the original buildings and monuments that have been lost or have changed their appearance.

Day 3 - Tsarskoye Selo
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
A country trip to Tsarskoye Selo with a tour of the Catherine Palace, the brilliant creation of F.B. Rastrelli. The splendor of the decoration is admired by the Great Hall of the Catherine Palace and the "Golden Suite" of the state rooms, among which is the world—famous revived Amber Room.
Attention: the tour may end later in the city center, around 20:00.
Transportation is provided for a country trip.
Day 4 - An excursion about the birth of St. Petersburg and the Peter and Paul Fortress
Breakfast at the hotel. Rooms are available until 12:00.
The walking tour "St. Petersburg was born here" tells about the emergence of the city on the Neva River, about the first stage of its construction, about the role that St. Petersburg played in the development of the economy, politics and culture of Russia.
You will walk along the Petrogradskaya side, where the first streets appeared, the first house of Governor Menshikov was built, the office building, the magistrate, the Trinity Cathedral. The first chief architect of St. Petersburg, Domenico Trezzini, supervised the work.
An excursion to the Peter and Paul Fortress with a visit to the Peter and Paul Cathedral and the Trubetskoy Bastion prison will introduce you to the 300-year history of the fortress, a former royal and then political prison, and at the same time the tomb of the Imperial house of Romanov in the Peter and Paul Cathedral – the tallest architectural structure in the city.
The tour ends at the Gorkovskaya metro station no later than 18:00.

Kirochnaya Hotel

Kirochnaya Hotel is located in the Central District of St. Petersburg, a 15-minute walk from Chernyshevskaya Metro Station. Nearby attractions such as the Tauride Garden, the Smolny Institute, and the A.V. Suvorov Museum are located.

This is a comfortable and peaceful place with rooms for up to 4 people, the interior of which is designed in a classic English style. An ideal option for those who would like to live in the center and not overpay for additional services.

The hotel has 24 rooms of different capacities: 13 double, 8 triple, 3 quadruple. All of them are equipped with sturdy single beds with massive headboards. The furniture also includes bedside tables, tables, chairs, and a wardrobe. Cups, saucers, towels, and free toiletries are provided.

The tour was well-organized, and the preloaded transit card included in the package was incredibly useful—such a great idea! However, unfortunately, in my case, there was no mention of it anywhere—not on the envelope with the vouchers, nor in the printed tour program. It also wasn’t brought up in my communication with the manager. As a result, we had to figure out on our own what the card was and how to use it. We only realized later that it already had money loaded onto it—when we happened to use it. Luckily, we traveled around the city a lot, so the balance on the card was put to good use. That being said, to be fair, I should note that other tour participants mentioned they did receive this information on their envelope and that their manager informed them about it when sending the tour details.
