In memory of this event, a part of the embankment where the terrorist detonated a bomb is preserved inside the temple.
It is surprising that despite such a gloomy and sad prehistory of creation, the artistic appearance of the temple delights with the richest multicolored domes covered with jewelry enamel, glazed tiles and huge mosaics decorating the facades and interiors of the temple.
An excursion to the "Savior on Spilled Blood" will open for you the world of mosaics covering more than 7000 square meters of the temple surface in 68 scenes from the Gospel.
In the Museum of the historical mock-up theater "Petrovsky Aquatoria" depicting St. Petersburg at the beginning of the XVIII century, it will be possible to observe the movement of 130 ships made according to historical models, watch fist fights during Maslenitsa and dances of the nobility at imperial receptions in Peterhof. Thanks to special effects, the ancient Petersburg will come to life before your eyes.
