Multi-activity on the Karelian Isthmus: kayaks, fatbikes, sauna

There is a 15% discount on the tour. The price is without discount.

"If it wasn't for the overnight stay in tents, I would have gone!" Well, our dear connoisseurs of comfort, this tour is for you! A cozy forest cottage for 12 people and a wood–burning sauna are at your service.

And the essence of the route? She's become much more interesting! After all, comfortable doesn't mean boring. The forests of the Karelian Isthmus were once the center of the lands of the Korela tribe, and since ancient times small ships sailed from Lake Ladoga to the Baltic Sea along the narrow channels between the lakes. Hundreds of years have passed and the channels connecting the lake and the sea have disappeared, leaving a system of lakes along which we will pass through the former Heinioxian Strait.

To get an even better feel for the luxurious nature of these places, we have added fatbikes (bicycles with wide wheels) to kayaking.

Tour organizer's comments

No special training is required. However, the better the participant is in, the more comfortable he will be. A kayaking and fat bike tour through the Heinjok Strait involves prolonged physical activity (kayaking and cycling). Participation in the cycling part of the route is available only to tourists with basic cycling skills.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

We provide our clients with the most necessary things — kayaks, bicycles, safety and rescue equipment, kitchen equipment. However, there are things that participants in kayaking and cycling tours must take with them on their own.:

  • gloves (neoprene, cycling, yachting or just construction);
  • a warm sweater/sweatshirt made of fleece or wool, preferably with a hood;
  • The jacket is windproof (water resistant from 5000 mm to 10,000 mm) or a raincoat.;
  • shoes for staying in a kayak (coral, polyurethane or neoprene slippers, rubber boots as an option);
  • KLMN (mug, spoon, bowl, knife);
  • individual medications (bring a patch, chlorhexedine, and dolobene or heparidex ointment).

It would be wise to divide clothes into three types:

  • The "wet" one in which you are in a kayak;
  • a "bicycle" in which you will pedal;
  • The "dry" one, in which you will walk in the cottage and ride in the transfer.
