And we will discover St. Petersburg through the eyes of Peter the Great by following the new walking route "Peter's Way", which is laid along Petrovskaya Embankment. How many times did Peter the Great with his giant steps walk along this embankment from his dwelling to the Peter and Paul Fortress under construction!
You will be surprised to see the modest house of the emperor, measure your height with him, and also compare how Peter's huge step differs from yours.

Wednesday. Suburban bus tour to Kronstadt with a visit to the Naval Cathedral
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meeting with the guide at the Gostiny Dvor metro station. Departure for the tour at 11:45.
You will have an exciting trip to Kronstadt— the legendary fortress city, famous for the glory of Russian sailors!
Here, as in St. Petersburg, everything was for the first time — the Baltic Fleet appeared, experiments with radio waves were conducted, anesthesia was used for the first time during the First World War, and the first icebreaker in the world came off the stocks.
First, we will see the majestic complex of flood defenses, from where you will enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the endless Gulf of Finland, dotted with the impregnable Kronstadt forts — the stone guards of St. Petersburg.
And then you will find the most amazing and unlike any other suburb of St. Petersburg. The marine defender of the city, which remained closed to the public for many years.
The majestic Naval Cathedral is a dazzling pearl of Kronstadt, the unique Petrovsky ship dock, and the famous Kronstadt footstock, one of the oldest in the world and a warning of floods.
The harbor, which carefully preserves the configuration and spirit of the Peter the Great era, the elegant alleys of Petrovsky Park, and the monument to Peter the Great are just some of the priceless monuments of architecture, culture, and science that you will see during a sightseeing bus and walking tour of picturesque Kronstadt.
For an additional fee: You will be able to visit the only lighthouse museum in Russia. This museum is not just a collection of exhibits, but a real journey through time, allowing you to plunge into the fascinating history of navigation and the role of lighthouses in the lives of sailors.
Opened in 2020, the Lighthouse House carefully preserves and represents the most important page in the history of Russia. Visitors can expect an exciting adventure filled with interesting facts and interactive elements.
You will be able to see detailed models of the lighthouses of the Gulf of Finland, so realistic that you will be able to see even the smallest details of their construction and even the "inhabitants" — miniature figures that add vitality and charm to the exposition.
An interactive mock-up of the Neva Bay water area occupies a special place, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of maritime navigation and understand how lighthouses work, orienting ships in difficult conditions.
For photo lovers, there is a special photo zone where you can capture your vivid impressions of visiting the museum. And the post office of the Lighthouse House will allow you to send postcards directly from the museum, informing your loved ones about your unique impressions.

Dates and Prices
The tour dates are not confirmed yet. Please, for clarification
The tour was well-organized, and the preloaded transit card included in the package was incredibly useful—such a great idea! However, unfortunately, in my case, there was no mention of it anywhere—not on the envelope with the vouchers, nor in the printed tour program. It also wasn’t brought up in my communication with the manager. As a result, we had to figure out on our own what the card was and how to use it. We only realized later that it already had money loaded onto it—when we happened to use it. Luckily, we traveled around the city a lot, so the balance on the card was put to good use. That being said, to be fair, I should note that other tour participants mentioned they did receive this information on their envelope and that their manager informed them about it when sending the tour details.
