Day 1 - Meeting. Walking tour of the center of Vyborg. "Pretzel Fest"
Arrival in Saint Petersburg.
09:30 Meeting with the guide at the monument to Peter the Great at the Moscow railway Station, St. Petersburg. The sign "Pretzel Fest".
Transfer to Vyborg. Highway tour. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, things in the hotel's luggage room. The guide will take you to Castle Island, where the medieval knightly Vyborg Castle is located, where all the main events will take place.
12:30-15:00 Participation in the festival "Pretzel Fest". Several interactive platforms for themed station games will be located in the historical part of the city and Vyborg Castle.
The festival also includes the participation of local establishments that will offer various activities that emphasize the hospitality of Vyborg. The interactive program includes games, fairs, and workshops that take place at several themed venues.
Activities with pretzel throwing, archery, soft sword tournaments and medieval-style photo zones will unfold in the Old Town, Vyborg Castle, Burgher's Manor, Hanseatic Court, Craft Town, Medieval Tavern and many other locations.
Participants will have an exciting gastronomic journey through medieval Vyborg with a tasting of pretzels prepared according to traditional recipes. For those who want to keep warm on an autumn day, master classes in ancient dances and contests with fun prizes will be organized.
All this will create a unique atmosphere of ancient Vyborg, full of joy, warmth and hospitality. You will be able to participate in the game from 11:00 to 17:00
15:00 Meeting with the guide at the entrance in front of the Castle Island.
15:00-17:00 Walking tour of the center of Vyborg — our guide will tell you about the history of the city, its legends and secrets. You will see the Market Square, the Peter and Paul Cathedral, the Transfiguration Cathedral, the Panzerlaks bastion, and the Town Hall Tower.

10:00 a.m. There are not many pretzels, so we invite all the guests to a master class on baking a real Vyborg pretzel.
You will learn about its history, recipes and participate in the manufacturing process yourself.
We will try two authentic recipes: medieval according to the recipe of the townspeople Marin (rye without yeast) and Viiperinrinkelli, baked on straw (fluffy, yeast).
12:30 Lunch at a cafe for an additional fee (950 rubles)
13:30 Transfer to the village of Podberezye to explore the ancient manor house of the Vyborg district.
14:00 Excursion to the Kiiskil estate, owned by the Kron family and founded in 1562. The main building was built in 1816.
You will have a unique opportunity to visit the estate, which is still undergoing the process of restoration and restoration, and to touch the history of one of the oldest estates in the Leningrad region.
The history of the estate is closely connected with the history of Russian brewing. Abraham Kron, the first Russian factory brewer, is the father of Leopold Kron— one of the owners of the estate.
Therefore, at the end of the tour you will have a tasting of manor beer (light Kelsh, pale ale, stout, cherry) and cider.
Some of the produced varieties are aged in the old granite cellar of the estate, where you will visit — in particular, it is there that the Russian imperial stout matures, one of the most dense and saturated varieties of dark beer, bottled in champagne bottles.
18:00 Return to St. Petersburg.
Arrival at approximately 21:00 at Moskovsky railway station.

My daughter and I took the St. Petersburg Collection tour for 7 days, and I highly recommend it for first-time visitors to the city like us. The tour is well-designed, allowing you to see the main attractions in a short period of time. A great advantage is that you can join on any day. Everything was well-organized—excellent guides, comfortable buses, and provided radio headsets for better communication. There were no delays or long waits. The schedule was planned in a way that left plenty of free time in the evenings for walks or additional sightseeing. The tour package includes hotel accommodation, with several options to choose from. I stayed at the Rossiya Hotel near Pobeda Park and was very satisfied. The rooms were clean, with daily housekeeping, fresh towels, and air conditioning—which was perfect given the pleasant temperatures of 24–30°C during our stay. A buffet breakfast was included—simple but sufficient to start the day. It was really convenient, as we would bring a small snack for the day and have dinner somewhere in central St. Petersburg. The hotel is within walking distance of the blue metro line, making it easy to reach the city center without transfers. There’s also a supermarket nearby, along with plenty of street food options. It’s also worth mentioning that additional excursions are available. We took a boat trip to the forts of Kronstadt and joined a nighttime tour to see the city's famous drawbridges—both were unforgettable experiences
