On this tour, you can visit two brilliant suburbs of St. Petersburg in one day - Oranienbaum, where the lush vegetation of the wild nature perfectly combines with the unique architecture of palaces and pavilions, and Peterhof, where the Russian emperors loved to relax.

Oranienbaum is the only suburb that was not occupied by the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War, and therefore was not destroyed. The damaged, but not destroyed, palaces-museums of the city of Lomonosov have preserved in all their authenticity and uniqueness the decorative decoration of the XVIII century. All the artistic monuments of Oranienbaum have come down to us with exceptional completeness, therefore it occupies a special place in the history of Russian architecture and art.

Visit to the Bolshoy Menshikov Palace.

The Grand Menshikov Palace is Oranienbaum's oldest building. The spirit of the times, the era of transformation and the struggle for access to the Baltic Sea, is clearly felt in the palace and its surroundings. It is located almost at the very waters of the bay, connected to the sea, directed towards it, as if it were the personification of the main goal of all the deeds of Peter the Great's time – the establishment of Russia on the shores of the liberated sea.

Transfer to Peterhof (~30 min.).

Lunch at a cafe in the city.

Peterhof Fountain Park tour.

The history of St. Petersburg dates back three centuries – for two of them the city grew and developed as the capital of the Russian state under the sceptre of the Romanov royal dynasty.

The tour route passes through the ceremonial center of St. Petersburg.

Imperial and grand ducal palaces, Orthodox churches and administrative buildings have been preserved here to this day. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in which the representatives of the ruling dynasty lived, raised and served for the glory of the Fatherland has disappeared forever from these buildings and palaces. But the spirit of imperial St. Petersburg has been preserved to this day.

Excursion to the Hermitage.

The Hermitage occupies a very special place among the art museums of the world. It began as a private collection of Empress Catherine II and remained closed to the general public for a long time. In the middle of the 19th century, the museum became public. Now his collections number more than 3.5 million exhibits.

Among them are masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Impressionist paintings, antique sculpture, Egyptian antiquities, a real mummy and much more.
