Itinerary

Day 1 - New Year's tour of St. Petersburg and the Faberge Museum
You arrive at the hotel on your own.
A shuttle service to the hotel is available for an additional fee and must be booked in advance:
private transfer from the train station/airport (from 1,700 rubles/car).
Guaranteed hotel accommodation after 14:00. You can leave your belongings free of charge in the luggage room of the hotel.
From 14:00 to 16:00 (before departure for the program), a representative of the company will meet you in the lobby of the hotel. He will answer all your questions, give you updated tour programs and offer additional excursions that you can purchase at will.
16:00 Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby. New Year's Eve evening tour of St. Petersburg. Lights and garlands are everywhere! On the very first day, you will be enchanted by the fabulous beauty of the festive decorations and the illumination of historical buildings and bridges. You will drive along the embankments, central streets and avenues and make several photo stops - at the Spit of Vasilievsky Island, at St. Isaac's and Kazan Cathedrals. New Year's greetings from Santa Claus with treats and gifts!
Excursion to the Faberge Museum. The Faberge Museum is one of the most "brilliant", literally, museums in our city, where you can appreciate the creations of the best jewelers of pre–revolutionary Russia. The brilliance of gold and precious stones, which were used in their works by Faberge masters, is complemented in the museum's exposition by canvases by I. Aivazovsky, K. Bryullov, V. Polenov, jewelry enamels and fantasy objects. The jewel of the museum's collection is a collection of 9 imperial Faberge Easter eggs, which returned to their homeland after almost 100 years.

Day 2 - Excursion to the Palace of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich

Bus tour "Palaces of St. Petersburg and their owners". We have prepared a surprise for you – a visit to the palace, which was built for the beloved brother of Emperor Alexander III, Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich. Its interiors have survived to the present day without significant changes.
Excursion to the palace of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich. The "Small Imperial Court" was the name of this palace before the revolution, one of the most famous grand ducal palaces in the city. It was built in the then fashionable eclectic style. Here, in the halls decorated with the richest collections of art objects, social life literally "boiled": balls, literary and musical evenings were organized. Subsequently, the palace housed the House of Scientists.
During the tour, you will be able to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of grandeur and luxury, so characteristic of imperial times, admire the magnificent interiors and hear a story about the fate of its inhabitants.
The place of completion of the program: The Palace of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich, the city center (the nearest metro station: Admiralteyskaya).

Day 3 - Vyborg, Christmas immersive program and Monrepos Park

08:00 Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby. Transfer to Vyborg. Theatrical sightseeing tour of the Old Town with merchant Claus. The former Hanseatic merchant Klaus, who came to Vyborg from the distant German Lubeck, fell in love with the city so much that he decided to stay here. He has settled down thoroughly, conducts brisk trade and even received the rights of a burgher. During the tour, you will slowly walk through narrow cobbled streets and ancient squares, see military fortifications of the XIII – XIX centuries, inspect the monument to Torgels Knutsson and admire the famous Vyborg Castle, the only European castle in Russia.
Christmas immersive program "Visiting the merchant Kaarina". Together with Vyborg brownie Nils and merchant Kaarina, we propose to go on a New Year's adventure - to the Hanseatic Court. This is a place where you can learn the history of Vyborg on behalf of the merchant Kaarina Multiala, who lived in Vyborg in the 16th century, and all the secrets and legends of that time will be revealed to you in secret by the kind and mysterious Nisse Nils, who fulfills wishes!
Visit to the Castle Island. Inspection of the territory of Vyborg Castle (St. Olaf's tower is closed for reconstruction!). The castle was founded in 1293 during the third Swedish Crusade. The castle was built according to medieval canons, when artillery was not yet used on the battlefield, and the main military force was mounted knights.
Lunch at a cafe in the city.
Excursion to the State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve "Monrepos Park". Russia's only rock landscape park of the Romantic era, "Finland in miniature". The heyday of Monrepos is associated with the name of the president of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences L.G.Nicolai, who acquired the estate in 1788, and after retiring in 1803, devoted himself entirely to decorating and praising his beloved estate in verse.

Day 4 - Priozersk, Akhinkoski waterfalls and Ruskeala Mountain Park

08:00 Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby. Moving to Priozersk – an ancient Karelian settlement mentioned in the chronicles as the city of Korela. An external inspection of the Korela fortress. You will hear an interesting story about the difficult relationship between Veliky Novgorod and Sweden, about the prisoners of the fortress: John IV Antonovich, the "emperor under ban", about E. Pugachev's two wives and their children, about the Decembrist Mikhail Kuchelbecker and much more.
Departure to Sortavala. Getting to know the city. The center of the Northern Ladoga region, one of the oldest cities in Karelia. This city can rightfully be considered both Swedish, Finnish, and Russian. You will learn about the history of the border town, get acquainted with the variety of its architecture, provincial streets and monuments of "Finnish romanticism".
Lunch at a cafe in the city.
Stop at the Ahinkoski waterfalls. These waterfalls have become especially popular since the early 1970s, after the release of the film "And the Dawns are Quiet here", which were filmed in this amazing place.
Excursion to the Ruskeala Mountain Park. The pearl of this park is the famous Marble Canyon, which attracts with its beauty at any time of the year. Marble mining was carried out here in the XVIII and XIX centuries, it was from here that marble was delivered for the Marble and Mariinsky Palaces, St. Isaac's Cathedral. In winter, when it is early dusk in the Ruskeala Mountain Park, you can admire the fantastic illumination, reminiscent of the northern lights and giving the park a special charm.

Day 6 - Strelna and the Konstantinovsky Palace

09:30 Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby. Bus tour to Strelna "Along the Old Peterhof Road" (it is possible to replace the tour on the days of state events). The final day of our program is no less intense and bright. Strelna is a small settlement on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, which is reached by an ancient road laid by Peter the Great at the beginning of the XVIII century. Driving along the "road among the estates" you will feel the flavor of bygone eras. You will find out why, already during the construction of a luxurious park with fountains, the emperor had to move to another place and why two palaces for one tsar appeared in Strelna at once.
At the end of the XVIII century, the Strelninsky ensemble became a country grand ducal residence. Since then, the Bolshoy Strelninsky Palace has been called Konstantinovsky.
Excursion to the Konstantinovsky Palace. The tour route passes through the suite of state halls and living rooms of the palace with a visit to the official apartments of the President of the Russian Federation and meeting rooms in an informal setting. The tour will allow you to get a complete picture of the history of the palace and park ensemble and its modern function as the "Palace of Congresses".
The place of the end of the program: Moskovsky railway station (the nearest metro station "Ploshchad Vosstaniya").
