Day 1 - Arrival. City tour "Rozhdestvensky Petersburg". Peter and Paul Fortress
The meeting of the tour participants at the Moscow railway station at the bust of Peter the Great at 12:00.
Sightseeing bus tour of the city "Rozhdestvensky Petersburg".
The bus will take you through the streets and squares in a festive Christmas outfit with illuminated lights-Merry Christmas greetings.
You will see the magnificent architectural ensembles of the University Embankment, the Arrows of Vasilievsky Island, the Field of Mars, Palace and Senate Squares, which have created St. Petersburg the glory of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
You will find out where the festivities used to take place, how they prepared for the holiday, what gifts were given, how and who bought them for the royal children in Gostiny Dvor, where and how the Christmas trees were held, which temples were the most revered for Christmas services.
An excursion to the Peter and Paul Fortress will introduce you to the history of the city on the Neva River, the 300-year history of the fortress, the former royal and then political prison, and at the same time the tomb of the Imperial house of Romanov in the Cathedral of Peter and Paul — the highest architectural structure of the city.
Transportation is provided for the meeting, transfer to the hotel and the tour.

Day 3 - Walking tour "Two islands, three centuries". St. Isaac's Cathedral, "The Bronze Horseman", "New Holland"

The epithet "the most" can be used in the description of all the objects of this tour, and it begins with an excursion to St. Isaac's Cathedral.
The temple built by the arch. Built by Montferrand in 1858, it is an outstanding architectural monument.

The tour will continue with an acquaintance with the most recognizable monument of our city, the "Bronze Horseman", created for the 100th anniversary of the accession of Peter the Great to the throne.
The tour will end on the man-made island of New Holland.
This is the youngest park in St. Petersburg, which is a unique cultural public space, with museums, restaurants, exhibitions, recreation areas, playgrounds, workshops and concerts, located on the territory of an architectural monument of the XVIII century.

Day 4 - Excursion "There is nothing better than Nevsky Prospekt ..." with a visit to the Kazan Cathedral. Hermitage

The tour will tell you about the past and present of the main thoroughfare of St. Petersburg, about historical monuments and architectural ensembles located here.
One of the most important decors of Nevsky Prospekt remains the semicircle of the colonnade of the Orthodox Kazan Cathedral, in front of which there are monuments to generals M.I. Kutuzov and M.B. Barclay de Tolly.
Visit to the Hermitage— the greatest museum in the world.
The unique interiors of the halls, paintings, sculptures, decorative and applied arts of different eras decorate the former royal residence.
A visit to the open-air public space "Gostinka Yard", with a tasting of a hot drink.
In the very heart of the city, in the courtyard of the famous Gostiny Dvor, there is a wonderful space where, in an atmosphere of goodwill, you can taste various cuisines of the world, play board games and listen to live music, and all this in New Year's decoration, with bright lights.
This day will end with a visit to the Christmas Market.

For an additional fee: A visit to the historical mock-up theater "Petrovsky Aquatoria", depicting St. Petersburg of the beginning of the XVIII century.
Here you can watch the movement of 130 ships made according to historical models, watch fist fights during Maslenitsa and dances of the nobility at imperial receptions in Peterhof. The uniqueness of the museum is that here you can see exact copies of the original buildings and monuments that have been lost or have changed their appearance.

Day 5 - Excursion to Kronstadt. Departure
Breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Rooms are available until 12:00.
Country trip to Kronstadt.
The excursion route includes an introduction to the complex of flood defenses, from where you can admire the panorama of the Gulf of Finland and see the famous Kronstadt forts.
During a sightseeing bus and walking tour of the city, you will visit the shore of the harbor, which has preserved its configuration since Peter the Great, walk along the alleys of Petrovsky Park, see the monument to the founder of St. Petersburg and Kronstadt, the palace erected for A.D. Menshikov, Petrovsky ship dock, the famous Kronstadt Footstock, the Naval Cathedral and a number of other monuments architecture, culture, science and technology, creating a unique look of the city.
Possible late return at 19:30/20:00.
