Transfer to Vyborg. A guided tour telling about the historical events and nature of the Karelian Isthmus.

11:00 Excursion to the museum-estate of I.E. Repin "Penates", where the artist lived for more than 30 years. His house with its extensive workshop was always open to guests: writers and poets came to friendly meetings, discussed contemporary art, and read their new works. The preserved interiors will help you feel the creative atmosphere of the early 20th century.

    Transfer to Vyborg.

    14:00 Transfer to the hotel.

14:30 Lunch at the restaurant (for those who paid half board).

15:30 Excursion to the Kiiskil estate, owned by the Kron family and founded in 1562. The main building was built in 1816. You will have a unique opportunity to visit the estate, which is still undergoing the process of restoration and restoration, and touch the history of one of the oldest estates in the Leningrad region.

The history of the estate is closely connected with the history of Russian brewing. Abraham Kron, the first Russian factory brewer, is the father of Leopold Kron, one of the owners of the estate. Therefore, at the end of the tour, you will visit a tasting of manor beer. Some of the produced varieties are aged in the old granite cellar of the estate, where you will visit — in particular, it is there that the Russian imperial stout matures, one of the densest and most saturated varieties of dark beer, bottled in champagne bottles.

    18:30 Return to Vyborg.

    Free time.

19:00 For the active and curious - a walking tour of the center of Vyborg — our guide will tell you about the history of the city, its legends and secrets. You will see the Market Square, the Peter and Paul Cathedral, the Transfiguration Cathedral, the Panzerlaks bastion, the Town Hall Tower.

20:00 For an additional fee, a boat trip along the Vyborg Bay.

The boat goes out into the Vyborg Bay, goes along the coast of the Monrepos Park and the islands of the Vyborg Bay: Tent Island, Island of the Dead, Islands of Love and Epic. The Monrepos Park looks different from aboard the ship. We will see: Chinese bridges, a tea gazebo, the temple of Neptune, the Ludwigstein Chapel. On the way back, the ship will pass through the Fortress Strait along the Castle Island, admire the towers and walls of Vyborg Castle from the water.

It was my first time in St. Petersburg, and everything was flawlessly organized—from the accommodation and transfers to the excursions themselves. A special thanks to our guide, Olga Grigoryevna, who left a lasting impression. I feel like she knows the history of every corner of this beautiful city. Her stories were both fascinating and incredibly informative.

The tour was absolutely wonderful! I fell in love with the city! The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating stories and little-known facts about the lives of the emperors that you won’t find in ordinary history books (they even recited poetry at times). I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience and will definitely be coming back next year
