Day 1 - Bus sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg. Excursion to the Hermitage. Cruise on the motor ship restaurant along the front Neva
You arrive at the hotel on your own.
A transfer to the hotel from the train station or airport is available for an additional fee and must be booked in advance: from 2,400 rubles/car.
From 12:00 until departure for the program, a representative of the company with a sign "About Petersburg" will meet you in the lobby of the hotel. You can approach at any convenient time in this interval.
He will answer all your questions, provide updated tour programs and offer additional excursions that you can purchase at will.
Guaranteed hotel accommodation after 14:00 / 15:00 depending on the hotel. You can leave your belongings in the luggage room of the hotel.

Excursion to the Hermitage. The Hermitage occupies a very special place among the art museums of the world. It began as a private collection of Empress Catherine II and remained closed to the general public for a long time.
In the middle of the 19th century, the museum became public. Now his collections number more than 3.5 million exhibits. Among them are masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Impressionist paintings, antique sculpture, Egyptian antiquities, a real mummy and much more.
After the tour of the museum, you will have the opportunity to walk through the halls of the Hermitage on your own and examine its exhibits in more detail.
20:00 Cruise on the motor ship restaurant along the front Neva (~1h 45 minutes). The northern capital is a city of romantic intertwining of rivers, canals and bridges.
We invite you to feel the special mood of St. Petersburg, escape from the hustle and bustle and relax by taking a cruise along the Neva River on a two-deck restaurant ship.
You will find: grand Nevsky embankments, warm summer breeze, musical accompaniment… And an ordinary summer evening is sure to turn into an exciting magical journey.
You can have dinner on board, choosing delicious dishes and drinks from the menu (on your own for an additional fee).
The place of the end of the program: the pier, the city center (the nearest metro station is Admiralteiskaya).

Day 2 - Spring Fountain Festival in Peterhof

A bus tour to Peterhof "What the fountains sing about" will introduce you to one of the most famous suburbs of St. Petersburg, which for two centuries has been a country imperial residence.
The road that will lead you to Peterhof still cherishes the traces of bygone centuries. The preserved monuments and manors recreate the atmosphere of rural life in Russia at the end of the XIX – beginning of the XX century.
Guided tour of Peterhof Fountain Park, the capital of fountains, magical gardens with a palace topped by a golden vase on the roof.
Its base is the Grand Cascade, an incredible aquatic extravaganza with fountains and sculptures. The jet of the most famous fountain "Samson" rises to the height of a seven-story building.
In terms of splendor and richness of decoration, Peterhof surpassed its prototype, the French Versailles, and became perhaps the most striking palace ensemble in Europe.
Spring Fountain Festival in Peterhof. A spectacular theatrical performance with multimedia elements, which takes place annually on the Grand Cascade of Peterhof during the daytime.
Each year has its own holiday theme. Traditionally, the holiday ends with the launching of fountains and pyrotechnic volleys over the Grand Peterhof Palace.

Russian sovereigns lived in this picturesque place during the warmer months, where they hosted official receptions, lavish balls, entertainment court events, and hosted foreign diplomats.
Over two centuries, one of the most beautiful country ensembles in Europe has developed here.
Excursion to the Catherine Palace with the Amber Room. This is one of those places where the magnificent and resplendent 18th century still lives.
It is in this palace that the famous Amber Room is located, stolen by the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War and recreated by St. Petersburg restorers.
The palace is surrounded by the magnificent Catherine Park, which is beautiful at any time of the year. In the shady alleys of the Imperial Park and the royal suites of the Catherine Palace, you can feel like a pampered maid of honor or a gallant cavalier.
The program ends at Moskovsky Train Station, Ploshchad Vosstaniya metro station.

I had no idea what to expect from this tour. I came across a website online and decided to fill out the booking form, though I was quite nervous about whether it was trustworthy.
