You will travel to the fabulous Dombay, a land of snow—capped peaks, blooming meadows and crystal clear mountain rivers.

Here, among the ancient trails of the Great Silk Road, legends about Byzantine merchants, traditions and customs of the peoples of the Caucasus come to life.

This journey is filled with the spirit of greatness and harmony, where every moment is a delight.

Dombay is beautiful at any time of the year.

And upon arrival at the famous Dombayskaya Glade, the heart of the mountains, you will admire the local panoramas, stroll through the market, where you will find many souvenirs, knitted and fur products by craftsmen, or take a cable car up the slope of the legendary Moussa Achitara Mountain (extra charge), find yourself at an altitude of 3200 meters above sea level, from where the majestic panorama of the highest mountains of the Western Caucasus.

An excursion to Dombay provides an opportunity to learn more about the history of the ski resort in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.

Excursion "To the sky-high heights of Upper Balkaria".

You will walk to the famous Chegem waterfalls and absorb the energy of the falling water of the waterfalls..

And then the path will lead to karst lake, one of the deepest karst lakes in the world — Blue Lake.

The blue lake impresses with the uniqueness of the color of the water.

You will have to walk along an ancient road that was carved out of a sheer cliff in the old days.

Being at the edge of the road, you will see and feel the long-term, grandiose work of the river.

The defensive system of the Kurnayat and Zylgi fortresses, which seemed to grow out of a sheer cliff, is stunning in its power and architecture, surrounding the villages of Shkanti and Kurnayat.

You will be filled with the mighty power of the Caucasus when visiting the unique confluence of the Cherek and Ishkirti rivers.

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable experience by bathing in the Aushiger hot thermal spring, giving your health the healing energy of the Caucasus (extra charge).

You will be able to taste the dishes of the national Balkarian cuisine and the famous Caucasian barbecue.

Excursion "Into the heart of ancient Iriston" — Kurtatinsky gorge.

A real island of the Middle Ages with its inherent attributes: watchtowers, crypt burial grounds and, of course, a cascade of rock-cut defensive fortresses, miraculously preserved to this day.

The journey from the hotel from Vladikavkaz to the Kurtatinsky gorge will take about two hours and will not be tedious.

On the way to the gorge, you will see (passing through) the monument to the seven Gazdanov brothers who did not return from the war, the military historical memorial complex under the open sky "Barbashovo Field".

In the village of Gizel, we will make a stop (optional) at the memorial to those who died during the descent of the Kolka glacier.

On the way to the mountains (passing through) we will see the Sacred Grove of Khetaga, where for many centuries a ceremonial holiday dedicated to Uastyrdzhi has been held.

In the Kurtatinsky gorge itself, we will stop at the Kadargavansky canyon — this is a gorge, at the bottom of which, at a depth of 100 meters, the bubbling streams of the mountain river Fiagdon foam.

And between the sheer walls, on a huge boulder brought by a glacier thousands of years ago, there is a mirrored leopard, the symbol of the Alan kings.

From the canyon we will walk to the "Trail of Wonders", bridges built into the rocks make it easy to cross the precipices over ravines, cliffs, over rocks.

There is also a "Sword of bloodlines", which, as a sign of reconciliation, was stuck into the ground by bloodlines from the warring clans of the Kurtatinsky gorge.

After the "Miracle Trail", we will take the bus to the highest Orthodox monastery in Russia, the Alan Holy Dormition Monastery in the village of Hidikus.

A shrine is kept here — a list of the icon of the Mother of God of Mozdok, which numerous pilgrims come to touch.

After the monastery, we will proceed to the high mountain village of Dzivgis.

You will see the fortress of the XII-XVI centuries, the most unusual rock defensive structure for the Caucasus, which the Tatar tumens and Shah Abbas tried to storm.

And also in Dzivgis village you will see crypt burial grounds — ancestral tombs.

Return to Vladikavkaz and have an independent dinner.

Excursion to mountainous Ingushetia "The Land of towers and legends".

You will take a trip to the "land of towers and legends", to an extraordinarily beautiful, amazing corner of the North Caucasus — the Republic of Ingushetia.

You will walk the paths of the Ingush people.

And you will learn more about the history, way of life, and culture of this small but very brave and worthy people.

Ingushetia is famous all over the world for its preserved tower complexes, which in ancient times served as defensive structures, and they were also built for families.

You will be able to walk through the ancient tower mounds, get in touch with antiquity.

The towers are silent old-timers of the past, they testify to the greatness of the people who built them.

You will learn that it was in Ingushetia that one of the first Christian churches was built on the territory of modern Russia. This is a unique temple that has survived many centuries, natural and military disasters — the temple of Thaba-Yerdy.

As you drive through the Assinsky Gorge, you will admire the beauty of the most beautiful river, the Assi, and its bubbling stream.

You will get to know Ingushetia from the inside, feel the atmosphere of real Caucasian hospitality, and taste traditional Ingush cuisine.

Contemplating the beauty of Ingushetia, you will escape from everyday worries, leave a trace of joy in your heart from seeing incredible beauty.

Excursion "The city of Grozny — past and present".

You will get acquainted with the past and present of the city of Grozny.

The tour will take you to the famous skyscrapers — the complex of high-rise buildings "Grozny City".

You will take a high-speed elevator to a height of 31 floors, from where you can enjoy a magnificent bird's-eye view of the city.

Also, during the tour, visit the Church of the Archangel Michael, built in the late 19th century by the Terek Cossacks.

You will visit one of the largest mosques in Europe and the world — the "Heart of Chechnya", which is an exact replica of the "Blue Mosque" in Istanbul.

Lunch at one of the local cafes, where during lunch you can taste dishes of national Chechen cuisine (for an additional fee).

After driving a little from the city of Grozny, we will visit the city of Argun, where the "Mother's Heart" mosque is located, named after the wife of the first president of the Chechen Republic Akhmad Kadyrov, Aimani Kadyrova, which is the only mosque in Russia made in an ultramodern form.

In recent years, the city of Shali has become a place of attraction for all Muslims of the North Caucasus.

In August 2019, the grand opening of the largest mosque in Europe, the Pride of Muslims named after the Prophet Mohammed, took place.

Hundreds of tons of rare snow-white marble, mined at the bottom of the Aegean Sea, underwent special processing and were delivered to the construction site.

Delicate minarets, portals and domes painted in gold, unique chandeliers made of millions of Swarovski crystals, exquisitely decorated alleys of a huge park will not leave any guest of the Shawl indifferent!
