Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. A tour of Zamoskvorechye. Tretyakov Gallery
You arrive at the hotel on your own.
A shuttle service to the hotel is available for an additional fee and must be booked in advance: private transfer from the train station or airport (from 2,700 rubles/car).

From 10:00 and before departure for the program, a representative of the company will meet you in the lobby of the hotel.
Guaranteed hotel accommodation after 14:00.
You can leave your belongings in the luggage room of the hotel.

A tour of Zamoskvorechye.
Zamoskvorechye– the historical district of old Moscow, is a real open—air museum-reserve, one of the few districts in Moscow where the spirit of the old city has been preserved.
You will learn how and why the Tretyakov Gallery appeared in Zamoskvorechye, as well as hear many other interesting facts from the history of Zamoskvorechye.
Excursion to the Tretyakov Gallery.
During the tour you will see the most famous works of Russian artists from the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery.
Together with the guide, you will walk the path from the portrait of Maria Lopukhina by Vladimir Borovikovsky to the "Girl with Peaches" by Valentin Serov, see the portrait of Alexander Pushkin by Orest Kiprensky, meet the famous painting "Horsewoman" by Karl Bryullov and "The Appearance of Christ to the People" by Alexander Ivanov, "Unknown" by Ivan Kramsky and "Rye" by Ivan Shishkin, "Alyonushka" by Viktor Vasnetsov and "Boyar Morozova" by Vasily Surikov.

Day 2 - City sightseeing tour

You will drive along the famous embankments and streets of the historical city: Boulevard and Garden Ring, see the Bolshoi Theater and the Manege, Stalin's skyscrapers, the golden domes of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Vorobyovy Gory, the Moscow State University building, Luzhniki Stadium, modern skyscrapers of Moscow City and much more.
Visiting the territory of the Moscow Kremlin (self-guided sightseeing).
The entrance ticket gives you the opportunity to see the cathedral square, the architectural ensemble of the Middle Ages: churches, the bell tower of Ivan the Great and outstanding works of Russian foundry art — Tsar Cannon and Tsar Bell, as well as the unique interiors of the Assumption, Arkhangelsk, Annunciation cathedrals.

The program was very well planned, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything. Despite some changes to the daily excursion locations due to the naval exhibition in Kronstadt, everything was smoothly adjusted. I also visited the Fabergé Museum and the Yusupov Palace. It's true, the bridges weren’t raised during the nighttime tour, but that’s just another reason to return to this magnificent city!
