The history of Vyksa dates back to the XVIII century, when brothers Ivan and Andrey Batashev founded factories in this territory and began industrial mining of iron ore. 

The Vyksa Metallurgical Plant was founded in 1757, and its continuous operation for more than 260 years is a vivid example of stability and reliability. 

The combine contributed to the victory over Napoleon by firing cannons and shells. 

And today, the skill of the Vyksa metallurgists is admired by both professionals and amateurs. 

It was in Vyksa that the magnificent cast-iron gates for the Summer Garden in St. Petersburg and the quadriga decorating the Triumphal Arch in Moscow were cast. 

The craftsmen from Vyksa also created a life-size chariot capable of movement.

This plant is a leader in the production of pipes and the manufacture of railway wheels. 

During the "Miracles of Steel Transformation" program, you will visit the foundry and rolling complex and pipe rolling workshop No. 3.

You will witness the process of melting metal in modern production, the transformation of liquid metal into red-hot sheets, which are subsequently rolled into rolls, only a millimeter thick. 

The finished products are sent to a pipe rolling workshop, where oil and gas pipelines and other types of pipes are manufactured on its basis, including those used in the construction of Russian stadiums for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

You will have the opportunity to observe the work of modern metallurgical professions and ask questions.

In addition, you will take vivid photos that will remain as a memory.
