Itinerary

Day 1 - The Bronze Horseman of Uastyrji and the Devil's Bridge "Ahsinti Head"
13:30-14:00 (Moscow time) – gathering of the group at the railway station and at the airport in Mineralnye Vody.
Transfer to the Digor gorge at about 4-4.5 hours.
The first attraction that tourists will see on New Year's Eve in North Ossetia is the famous Devil's Bridge.
Ahsinti Head is located in the Digor Gorge. The natural formation is a very narrow gorge through which a rushing river flows.
The observation bridge is located directly above the precipice, so you can see the natural charm and uniqueness of the famous place from here.
Given the furious current, the river does not freeze even in severe frosts.
We will continue on and make our next stop near the bronze horseman Uastyrdzhi, who froze on the edge of a huge stone cliff.
This hero is the prototype of the famous George the Victorious, who kills the tempting serpent with a spear.

Day 2 - Bayradi and Gavizedon Waterfalls
Winter holidays in the mountains of North Ossetia, particularly on New Year's Eve, also include visits to famous waterfalls.
One of these is the beautiful Bayradi Stream, located in the Alanya National Park.
Locals call it Noisy, because in summer, a booming rumble can be heard from afar.
In winter, the waterfall freezes, as a result of which tourists have the opportunity to admire the amazing ice figures.
At any time of the year, stunning, unique photos can be taken near the stream: a rocky ledge can be seen from the side, from where tourists enthusiastically take pictures of the attraction.
Another stream that we will visit on this day of the New Year's tour is called Gavizedon.
To go to him, you need to walk through a deep gorge where the river of the same name flows.
In winter, it's a real ice fairy tale, consisting of monolithic sculptures created by nature itself.

Day 3 - Mount Kubus
On this day of our tour, we will visit Kubus Mountain, sacred to the Digor people.
The location is still fraught with secrets: there is a belief that all wishes made on the slopes of the mountain must come true.
Mount Kubus is higher than 2,300 meters, so it acts as a great viewing platform in itself.
The rock, although small, is one of the most famous in the Digor gorge.
Seasoned tourists know that the first of the viewing platforms is marked by a tall pine tree of desires.
Other viewing platforms offer views of the Sugansky Ridge, the frozen Buravidon Waterfall and the Threshold of Heaven campsite.
The way to the mountain lies through the small Komy-Art pass and the Tana glade.
Our instructor is always ahead of the group, who will confidently pave the path even through the fresh snow!

Day 4 - Ancient villages of Digoria
What else can surprise travelers with a New Year's tour to Ossetia?
Of course, by contemplating an ancient architectural complex dating back to the mysterious Middle Ages.
We will look at the ancient towers that served as part of defensive complexes, as well as observation platforms.
All this is surprisingly well preserved in the village of Galiat.
Once the village was very rich: artisans, merchants and even nobles lived here, and a fragment of the famous Silk Road ran through the village, so you can imagine how brisk the trade was.
During the winter tour and on New Year's Eve, the territory of the village will be dusted with a snow-white blanket, giving the modest landscape a certain elegance.

Day 5 - Galdoridon Waterfall
Ossetia is a country of waterfalls and glaciers.
Therefore, today we will visit another spectacular New Year's waterfall, whose name is Galdoridon.
The path to it runs along the Urukh River, and on the other side of us rises the mighty Sugan ridge.
If it's a sunny day, we'll walk in the sun almost all the time.
We will come to the waterfall closer to lunch.
Like the rest of the waterfalls of Ossetia, Galdoridon partially freezes at this time of the year, but the water still shimmers inside it.

Day 6 - Departure
This morning, there will be time to take a short walk around the campsite, ride a swing, look at the frozen ponds, or walk past the deer enclosure again and admire the mountains that surround our hotel from all sides.
Active part: 2 km.
Transfer by minibus to Mineralnye Vody.
14:00-15:00 Arrival in Mineralnye Vody (airport, railway station), departure home.

Difficulty level of the route: moderate (50% of the route), medium (50% of the route).

The route is trekking and involves walking through mountainous (rough) terrain. This type of outdoor activity involves daily climbing and dropping heights (ascents and descents).

The route follows snow trails and dirt roads. The routes will have an altitude difference of 300 to 500 m per day for three days.

Going up 300-500 m is about the same as going up 100-160 floors.

The tour includes accommodation in 2-, 3-bed rooms at the Threshold of Heaven sports and recreation complex, at the Dzinaga campsite or at a campsite of the same class.

If necessary, the surcharge for a single room in a hotel room is 15,800 rubles.

Double and triple rooms, room facilities (shower, toilet).

Located at an altitude of 1,452 m from sea level, the Dzinaga campsite is ready to receive and accommodate up to 700 tourists. To get to the place of rest, you will need to travel about 116 km towards the Fatanta tract from the city of Vladikavkaz.

To ensure a comfortable stay on TB, the rooms are equipped with telephones, televisions, and are connected to the Internet. The dining room can accommodate 200 people at a time. The cafe is designed to serve 50 visitors.

There is a guarded parking lot for visitors' cars, and a special room for storing things. There is a medical center on site, a sauna and showers are available, and a gym equipped with the necessary sports equipment. Those who wish can visit the dance floor, go to the club or take a walk in the park, which has many comfortable benches.
