The winter landscapes of Ossetia are unique in beauty — beautiful views of snow—capped mountains, the purest waters of mountain rivers and, of course, mysterious medieval tower complexes - outstanding examples of stone architecture.
We will see the Dargava necropolis, which is popularly called the "City of the Dead", consisting of more than 90 crypts of original shape. On the way, we will meet Kadargavan Canyon — a unique place where you can see how over hundreds of years a mountain river has eroded the soft limestones of a rocky ridge, and a huge boulder that fell from the mountain has become a natural bridge across the canyon.
