Day 1 - Arrival in Veliky Novgorod. City sightseeing tour

Day 2 - Staraya Russa

Departure program: departure to Staraya Russa, a salt city on the Great Waterway "From the Varangians to the Greeks" (100 km), information on the way.
11:00 Excursion program: F.M. Dostoevsky House Museum, where the novels "The Brothers Karamazov", "Demons" and other works were written. The interiors of several memorial rooms have been recreated here.
Sightseeing tour – Staraya Russa is one of the oldest Russian cities. Monuments of ancient architecture: Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery (late XII century); Mina Church (XIV century); St. Nicholas Church (XIV-XIX centuries); Trinity Church and the Resurrection Cathedral (late XVII century)

Departure to Valdai, a small ancient city on the Moscow – Novgorod highway (140 km), information during the journey.
Excursion program: Valdai Iversky Svyatoozersky Bogoroditsky Monastery, located on one of the islands of the picturesque Holy Lake. The richest and most famous of the monasteries of its time. Visiting the monastery allows you to touch the life-giving power of Orthodoxy.
Lunch at a cafe in the city.
