Guess the region of Russia where the wild taiga meets the sea, and Beijing is closer than Moscow? Where tigers and leopards roam the hills, and restaurants serve trepang with honey? This is Primorsky Krai and its capital Vladivostok, the terminus of the Trans-Siberian Railway.

We have collected places in this tour that will definitely sink into your soul when you first visit Primorye. In 9 days, we will show three faces of the region: the south with turquoise coves and Japanese pines, the central Lazovsky nature reserve with thousand-year-old yews and kekurs, and the northeast with old lighthouses.

Every day we will discover new places: in passable cars and on foot. The program includes accommodation at recreation centers and glamping sites, a boat trip and a sauna. We partially eat at the bases, partially cook ourselves under the guidance of an instructor, and on some days we have lunch at a cafe. We return through the golden autumn taiga back to Vladivostok.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Cape Bruce — Coastal Iceland
We meet in Vladivostok early in the morning and drive south. Here begins the territory of the Land of the Leopard, a reserve with the rarest big cats in the world. You can take a nap on the way: jet lag makes itself felt.
The first stop is the Bruce Peninsula, which is often called "Seaside Iceland": basalt columns break off right into the ocean, the wind knocks you off your feet. We will go to Busset Lighthouse and the arch of the Drinking Camel, where we will have a picnic of local delicacies.
We will finish the walk at the cape of the Soaring Turtle. Here, a turtle stone hovered over the sea as if it were about to jump towards Japan.
In the evening, we check into a cozy glamping in the middle of an oak forest, where pilaf is freshly cooked over a campfire and the first conversations with the group over a cup of taiga tea are waiting for us.

Day 2 - Languishing Heart Island, Japanese pines and azure coves
Let's dedicate this day to exploring the Gamova Peninsula.
First of all, we go to Telyakovsky Bay and the island of the Languishing Heart. It was given such a romantic name because of an unusual attraction: in one of the natural rainwater baths there is a rounded stone in the shape of a heart. During the surf, the stone knocks against the rocks like heartbeats. The bravest can climb down the ropes and walk across the water to the island.
After that, we will visit the bay of Orlinka with bright turquoise water surrounded by thick-flowered pines.
In the afternoon we will visit Vityaz Bay. This place is filled with artifacts from bygone eras: the abandoned dolphin military base, the ruins of the Yankovsky castle house, a Japanese fishing settlement before 1922.
On the way, we will stop at the scallop farm, where they will show a master class on cutting scallops. Here you can buy scallops directly from the garden and cook them yourself: someone eats live with lemon, someone baked in butter during dinner, and everyone is right in their own way!
We will finish the eventful day by swimming in the invigorating waters of Astafiev Bay with white sand. We return to glamping at sunset. Those who wish can rent a sauna tub and watch the stars.

Day 3 - Boat trip: seals, grottos and Gamova Lighthouse
The morning starts with a boat trip around the peninsula. From the water, the peninsula opens up in a new way: we will see Gamova Lighthouse and Kekur "Drinking Elephant", steep cliffs with Japanese pines hanging from them. We will observe the resting seals from a distance of ten meters.
After lunch with Chinese cuisine, which is quite common in these parts, we are preparing for a long trip to the east.

Day 4 - Lazovsky Nature Reserve and Dragon Park
We are going to the Lazovsky Nature Reserve, namely the Dragon Park. These are bizarre rock remnants in the middle of the taiga: A Sitting Lizard, a Stone Bowl, a Brontosaurus Ridge — all the names were given by tourists. The weathered stone ridges really resemble the scaly bodies of fairy-tale dragons.
It takes about an hour to walk along a pleasant path among the oak forest.
In the evening, we check into the cabins in Petrova Bay right on the shore.

Day 5 - Petrova Island and relaxing on the endless beach
We wake up to the sound of the surf, we meet the dawn with a view of the sea right on the terrace.
An excursion to Petrova Island is planned for today, accompanied by an employee of the reserve, we get there by boat.
A relict yew grove grows here, dating back more than a thousand years. Let's hear a story about who the Jurchens are, why the yew trees are so old, and how huntsmen protect the Amur tiger.
After lunch, free time: you can swim, lie on the beach or walk through the pine forest. If an excursion to the island is impossible due to weather conditions, we will visit Tasovaya Bay.

Day 6 - Benevsky Waterfalls and the Far Eastern Taiga
We have a good breakfast, because we have the longest walk ahead. Our main goal is to see the cascade of Benevsky Waterfalls. There may be fords along the way, but the ascent to the first waterfall is smooth, but you will have to climb ropes to the second one.
The main waterfall "Star of Primorye" is more than 25 meters high. In May, the rhododendron blooms right along the trail, and in October, the taiga is in red and yellow tones.
In the evening, we check into the cordon of the bay of the Village. It's the wildest overnight stay, which is an adventure in itself: a sauna instead of a shower, cold water from a well, rooms for 6 people, a birdhouse toilet in the courtyard. But all the inconveniences more than pay off, because this is a unique place located right in one of the most beautiful bays of Primorye. Only 30 visitors are allowed here per day.
We will meet sunrises and sunsets right on the shore and admire the starry sky far from civilization.

Day 7 - Tachingouza Bay and evening bathhouse
Today, a walk with an employee of the reserve to Tachingouza Bay, which will last about 5 hours. Yellow sand, emerald water, two tall kekurs at the entrance to the bay — as if someone deliberately placed rocks for beauty.
We return to the Village in the evening, where a hot sauna and fragrant tea await us. The bay is located on the territory of the Lazovsky Nature Reserve, which is home to more than 318 species of animals, including the Amur tiger! But there's nothing to worry about, tigers live on their own territory, and meeting him is a rare piece of luck.
We spend the night at the reserve cordon. Before going to bed, if desired, you can steam in the sauna.
*If the tour is impossible due to weather and other conditions, a visit to other equally picturesque bays is organized. There is no recalculation of the payment for the tour.

Day 8 - Cape of Four Rocks
We leave the Country lane to the north. Our goal is the Cape of Four Rocks, the hallmark of northern Primorye. The cape juts strongly into the sea, so here you can feel surrounded by the sea element.
We will walk along the cliff edge and go down to the beach, where you can collect a whole collection of shells.
At sunset, the Balyuzek lighthouse on a precipitous cape. After two nights in the cordon, it's a real return to civilization: a hot shower, a bed with a white sheet and a cafe.
We spend the night in double rooms with a terrace and a view of the bay.

Day 9 - Dawn at Balyuzek Lighthouse and return to Vladivostok
Today we have a long journey to Vladivostok with several stops. We invite those who wish to meet the dawn at the lighthouse, and after breakfast we will set off as a group.
Let's briefly immerse ourselves in the post-apocalyptic atmosphere of the movie "Stalker": we'll make a stop at an abandoned mining and processing plant. Abandoned tunnels and destroyed industrial buildings are hidden in the picturesque hills of Sikhote-Alin.
The next stop is Dersu Uzala Rock, named after the hero of Arsenyev's book, a Nanai hunter-guide on expeditions around the region.
In the evening we arrive in Vladivostok, where we check into hotels and hostels. But we will not say goodbye, because we will have a final dinner in one of the restaurants in Vladivostok with Far Eastern delicacies: crabs, scallops, octopus, where everyone can order dishes at will (not included in the price of the tour).

The 2027 program is published in an early announcement format, which allows you to book a place and plan your vacation in advance. The final details of the accommodation will be clarified in early 2027, after confirmation from the bases: it is possible to replace the hotels with identical or higher class ones.

No serious training is required.

The most difficult day is Benevskiye: 12 kilometers round trip, a simple trail without cliffs and kurumnik, but long (about 5 hours).

If you can walk 12 km without a backpack, you can do it.

All other days are light walks, no more than 4 hours with long stops.

It is also important to carry the road well.

It's important to know

We will travel by car, so we can also travel with a suitcase. It is advisable that the size of the main suitcase / backpack fits in hand luggage, as the transfer space is limited.

It's much better if you go with a backpack.: this way there will be no problems with the placement of things in the transfer. Also take a cape on your backpack: although backpacks are covered with an awning from the rain, they can get wet while carrying them from the cabins to the parking lot.

Of the clothes for the trip, you will need

Sleeping bags and foams are not needed: we live in cabins. However, in one place on the reserve cordon, bed linen is not provided. Therefore, you need to bring either a set of bed linen (a sheet, a pillowcase, a duvet cover), or a light sleeping bag. Blankets and pillows are provided.

What is important to know

All picnics and campfire dinners are included. These are unique outdoor meals with local produce — something worth traveling for.
Breakfast in the accommodation is included automatically. Glamping, hotel in Shkotovo — breakfast everywhere.
Lunches and dinners in canteens and cafes along the way are at your own expense. This gives flexibility of choice and reduces the cost of the tour. Budget: approximately 500-800 rubles per meal, only 5-7 thousand rubles per tour.
Tea, coffee, boiling water in thermoses — for everyone, the whole tour. In parking lots, on the road, by the campfire.
Scallops on the farm are bought locally at the producer's price. For those who don't eat seafood, sausages are grilled. No one stays hungry.
In the Village, we cook as a group under the guidance of a guide. This is part of the format: a 9-day team, a communal table, bonfire dinners. No one obliges anyone who does not like to cook, there are always enthusiasts in the kitchen.
If the canteen at the base is closed, the guide on the bus always has an emergency supply of food for group cooking. No one is left without hot food.
