It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Documents in a waterproof package:

  • passport;
  • a compulsory health insurance policy.

There is an insurance policy for the group, medical expenses for which will be reimbursed (for example, transportation costs in case of emergency evacuation). There is an Iridium telephone for emergency communication. The group registers with the Ministry of Emergency Situations to complete the route.

General equipment provided:

  • awning, camping furniture, campfire equipment, axes, saws, etc.;
  • a shared first-aid kit (with a common set of medications that may be needed during the hike).

It is advisable for each participant of the hike to have a personal first-aid kit, which should contain:

  • individual bactericidal adhesive patches 5-10 pcs.;
  • elastic bandage 1-2 pcs. or knee pads (knees often hurt due to heavy load, and it is not possible to put 10 bandages in a group first aid kit - they are very bulky);
  • "favorite" pills and medications. If you have chronic diseases, and you also know that you are often susceptible to this or that disease, be sure to take your usual medications. Example: chronic runny nose – take the usual drops with you, frequent sore throats – take proven remedies that help you, etc. Specific or rare medicines may not be in the first-aid kit.

Necessary personal equipment.

Equipment and accessories:

  • a backpack for radial exits for 1 day (it should fit: a jacket, a raincoat, water or a thermos, part of a snack, a flashlight, glasses), ideally 30-40 liters. and a cape for a backpack from the rain;
  • ideally, a backpack of 80-110 liters is the main one, with a cape on the backpack. We have a lot of crossings and crossings in these 2 weeks, and although we are not going on a full-fledged hike with long daily crossings, we need to be comfortable to move around, and this is definitely not with a plastic suitcase. The weight of the items is as light and compact as possible. There should be a reserve for a place for public equipment (tents, awnings and other things that will be distributed among the participants).
  • polyurethane seat mat ("hob", etc.) – so that you can sit on any surface during rest periods;
  • head lamp and batteries;
  • sunglasses;
  • sun cream;
  • The sleeping bag is temperature-controlled (0 comfort mode) and comes with a hermetic bag or a thick plastic bag.;
  • foam-a mat on which you will sleep;
  • spoon, mug, knife, knife;
  • trekking poles;
  • raincoat;
  • matches sealed in polyethylene or plastic packaging or a lighter;
  • individual first-aid kit (with the necessary set of personal and specific medicines, no more than 200 grams by weight);
  • thermos flask or plastic bottle;
  • personal hygiene products (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, toilet paper).

Clothing:

  • thermal underwear (set, depending on the season);
  • light, athletic trousers, for daily wear, depending on the season; shorts, something light in the heat (sometimes the whole hike is +10, sometimes +33);
  • T–shirts - 3 pcs.;
  • fleece or the like (preferably made of modern materials);
  • windproof suit (trousers + jacket). Ideally, a membrane (for protection from rain and wind);
  • warm jacket;
  • socks (trekking) – at least 2 pairs;
  • a buff or a bandana around the neck;
  • the hat is warm;
  • simple gloves – 1 pair;
  • swimsuit for hot springs;
  • towel for hot springs.

Shoes:

  • worn trekking boots, shoes must have good water-repellent properties. These include "flashlights" (gaiters) so that "loose particles" (small pebbles and sand) do not get inside the shoe.;
  • sandals, sneakers;
  • I recommend boots made of EVA material (light and warm) with a liner. If it rains, you can walk in them.;
  • slippers or crocs for hot springs.

There is an opportunity to fish (you need to have fishing equipment with you).
