The largest island in Russia, which is located off the east coast of Asia.
We will meet you upon arrival of flight SU-1742 at the Chekhov International Airport, the newest airport in our country. The terminal was opened in 2023 and its shape symbolizes the sea wave.
We are going to check into one of the best hotels in the Far East.
The hotel is located in an ecologically clean place near the ski resort. Here we stay for 3 nights before departure to Iturup Island, and then we will check in again.
According to our tradition, a compliment will be waiting for you in the room: a bottle of sparkling wine with fruits to relax after the flight and tune in to a beautiful and bright vacation!
We rest a little after the flight and go to a welcome lunch.
We will be waiting in a panoramic restaurant with the most beautiful views of the city, located at the top of 601 m. We will go up to the restaurant by the cable car of the ski complex.
The restaurant's brand chef Ivan Stroitelev was shortlisted for the Chef of the Year Award 2022 in the Chef of the Region nomination. The restaurant's kitchen focuses on the selection of high-quality local products and unique flavor combinations.
The first course will serve us an assortment of sashimi made from fresh Far Eastern seafood and fish.
The next course will be sockeye salmon, perhaps the most famous fish of the Far East, with lime mousse and broken cucumber.
And for the hot meal, we will be served Sakhalin scallops with foie gras mousse, which will be ideally complemented by fresh riesling.
The end of our lunch will be the author's dessert "Anna Pavlova on Sakhalin" with tea made from local herbs.
All meals according to the program are already included in the price of the tour, you just need to relax and enjoy!
The most delicious, beautiful and soulful trip to the Sakhalin region is declared open! Hurray!
After lunch, we go to explore the city.
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (or simply Yuzhny, as the locals call it) is located on a plain surrounded by beautiful hills.
We will see the historic district, the main streets and squares of the city and the Japanese architectural heritage. We will not walk for a long time: we alternate walking with traveling by our minibus.
After the walk, we return to our hotel and relax.
Our journey across Sakhalin begins tomorrow!
