Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Acceptance on Sakhalin. Welcome lunch. Getting to know Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

For more information on recommended flights, see the "Important to Know" section.

Welcome to Sakhalin! The largest island of Russia, which is located off the east coast of Asia.

We will meet you at Chekhov International Airport, the newest in the country.

The terminal, opened in 2023, symbolizes the sea wave with its shape.

We will stay in one of the most prestigious hotels in the Far East, which is located in a picturesque, ecologically clean area next to a ski resort. We will spend two nights here before flying to Iturup Island, and after returning we will stay at this comfortable hotel again.

Traditionally, a compliment will be waiting for you in the room: a bottle of sparkling wine with fruit to relax after the flight and tune in to a beautiful and vibrant vacation.

We rest a bit and go to a welcome lunch.

We will be waiting in a panoramic restaurant at an altitude of 601 meters, offering a breathtaking view of the city landscape and the surrounding nature. To get there, we'll take a ride on the ski complex's cable car — both the path and the location itself will give us an unforgettable experience.

Here, high-quality local products turn into real masterpieces thanks to creative experiments and unexpected flavor combinations.

Each dish is a harmonious combination of traditional recipes with original finds.

Our gastronomic journey will begin with a spectacular, bright dish — assorted sashimi made from fresh Far Eastern seafood and selected fish.

As the main course, we will be served delicate Sakhalin scallops with foie gras mousse.

The hot dish will be especially vivid in tandem with the fresh riesling, which will emphasize the richness of taste of each ingredient.

The end of our lunch will be a magnificent author's dessert "Anna Pavlova on Sakhalin" — the creation of the restaurant's pastry chefs, which will perfectly complement the fragrant tea made from local herbs.

All meals and drinks according to the program are already included in the price of the tour. All that remains is to relax and enjoy — a bright, sincere and delicious adventure to the Sakhalin region begins here and now! Chin-chin!

After lunch, we will have a fascinating acquaintance with Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a city that locals affectionately call simply "Yuzhny". It is located on a picturesque plain surrounded by beautiful hills.

We will get acquainted with the most interesting locations of the city: we will walk through the historical district, explore the main streets and squares, and also see the unique Japanese architectural heritage. We alternate hiking with a comfortable ride in our minibus.

After the walk, we return to the hotel and relax — today we have a free evening. And tomorrow our trip to Sakhalin begins!

The tour was organized by the host party to the highest standard, both during the booking process and throughout the trip itself. Everything went exactly as planned, with no changes, and the program was packed with activities. I was pleasantly surprised by the gift on the final evening—a personalized certificate for crossing the Arctic Circle and a customized thermos cup. Such a thoughtful touch! A big thank you to everyone involved!
