Itinerary

Day 1 - Departure to Shikotan Island by boat
08:30 Gathering of the group on the porch of the Gagarin hotel.
09:00 Transfer to the seaport of Korsakov.
Our journey begins from the sea station, which is located in the city of Korsakov.
10:00 Registration on the ship.
After checking the tickets and documents, we board the ship and get to the lobby where the reception is located.
The staff places passengers in the appropriate cabins (according to the tickets).
12:00 Departure of the ship to Malokurilskoye (Shikotan island).
Lunch and dinner on the ship (independently).

Day 2 - Arrival at Shikotan Island. Free time
18:00 The approach of the ship to the port of Malokurilsky (Shikotan island).
Meeting at the port, transfer to the hotel, dinner.

Day 3 - The cape is the Edge of the World. Nameless Bay
Breakfast in the hotel cafe.
10:00 Departure for the route.
The difficult road through rivers and bamboo fields takes about 1.5 hours on the way.
11:30 Arrival at Cape Edge of the World — this is the easternmost part of the island, from here you can enjoy an incredible view of the Pacific Ocean, aquamarine waves crashing on the rocks where sea lions and seals rest.
A walk to Cape Crab, where the Shpanberg Lighthouse is located, built by the Japanese in 1943, this lighthouse is the furthest point from Moscow, from the Russian capital to the island 7.137 kilometers in a straight line.
Transfer to Bezymyannaya Bay — an amazingly beautiful place, dozens of green islands scattered in the turquoise ocean water.
Bezymyannaya Bay is often called Robinson Crusoe Bay — it was here that the Soviet film "The Life and Amazing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe" directed by Stanislav Govorukhin was shot.
Lunch in the bay (lunch boxes).
A walk along the bay, if desired, it is possible to swim in the Pacific Ocean.
In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4 - Trekking to Aivazovsky Bay
Breakfast in the hotel cafe.
10:00 Departure for the route to the village of Krabozavodskoye.
Then a one-way hike to Aivazovsky Bay is about 6 kilometers.
Along the way, we will see the Tomari and Natoro mountains, covered with old fir trees and fir trees.
There are two islands in the bay itself — Aivazovsky and the island of the Ninth Shaft, the lighthouse located on it, was named after the famous painting by the Russian artist Aivazovsky.
The island of the Ninth Shaft is not covered with bamboo, but with spruce, pressed to the ground by strong ocean winds.
A walk along the bay.
Lunch.
After lunch, we move back.
Return to the hotel, dinner.

Day 5 - Departure to Sakhalin

11:00 Transfer to the seaport of Malokurilsk (Shikotan island).
12:00 Boarding the ship.
14:00 Departure to the port of Korsakov (Sakhalin Island).
Lunch and dinner on your own on the ship.

Breakfast and lunch on the ship (independently).
20:00 The ship's approach to the port of Korsakov.
Meeting at the port and transfer to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
You will arrive in the city by 22:00, so it's best to schedule your flight the next day. However, it is recommended to have one day in reserve on Sakhalin.

one downside was that the voucher with the contact details of the local host was only sent a few hours before the tour started, and that was after multiple requests. On my previous trip (the 2023 Baikal Tour), I received the voucher two days before the tour began.
