Day 1 - Arrival in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. City tour
Arrival at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport, transfer to the airport on your own.

Day 2 - Guided tour of the Torii Gate. The bay is quiet

09:00 Transfer to the seaside village (120 km, 2 hours).
11:00 Excursion to the Torii Gate, a ritual gate in the village of Vzmorye (1940). This is all that remains of the Japanese Shinto temple of the Karafuto Prefectural period.

11:30 a.m. Transfer to Tikhaya Bay (20 km, 30 minutes).
12:00 Walking tour along the coast (3 km), with stops for photo shoots.
14:00 Lunch-picnic on the beach.
15:30 Transfer to the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk hotel (140 km, 2.5 hours).

I. F. Kruzenshtern, the famous Russian navigator, called the bay Quiet for a reason. It is located in the east of Sakhalin, and from the west it is covered by the Zhdanko Ridge. This is a truly heavenly place.
The attraction of this place can be called a free-standing rocky islet. It has a wide base and a flat top. There is no approach to the island. However, it stands out very much and is noticeable even from a distance, which is why it has received such an eloquent name — Noticeable. Noisy seagulls have chosen this place, but apart from them, no one and nothing breaks the natural silence here.

Day 3 - Cape Giant and Cape Bird
07:00 Breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
08:00 Transfer to Okhotsk (40 km, 1 hour).
09:00 Walk along the embankment.
09:30 Transfer to Cape Giant (Ptichiy) with stops at unequipped viewing platforms (55 km, 1.5-2 hours).
11:00 Walk along the coast at Cape Bird, then to Cape Giant (2 km).
13:00 Lunch-picnic at Cape Bird.
14:30 Transfer to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (105 km, 3 hours).
17:30 Arrival at the hotel.

Cape Bird and Cape Giant are one of the main natural attractions of Sakhalin. A special feature of the site is the unique rock formations located along the coast and carved by natural forces.
These architectural structures of nature are located in picturesque coves, where on one side there is an endless sea, and on the other side there are mountains with dense taiga forest. Here you can fully feel the power and beauty of Sakhalin nature.

Day 4 - The Frog Outlier

09:30 Transfer to the village of Vesochka to the beginning of the ecological trail to the "Frog" outpost (21 km. 40 min.)
10:10 Excursion to the Frog outpost (2 km. 40 min.) along a well-maintained trail with recreation areas.
The trail runs along the Komissarovka River. Ascent to the remnant by stairs. A panorama of the Aniva Bay, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and Korsakov opens from the remnant.
11:30 Transfer to the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk hotel (21 km, 40 min.).
12:10 Lunch at a restaurant in the city.

The Frog Outlier is a geological natural monument of regional importance, which the ancient Ainu considered a temple of wisdom and a place of special energy.
The Frog outlier is not just a rock formation: its shape surprisingly resembles a sitting frog, ready to jump. According to the beliefs of the ancient Ainu, this is a place of power. Here, according to legends, you can find inner harmony and get answers to important questions.
Climbing to the top of the remnant, you will be rewarded with stunning views, and you will discover the picturesque landscapes of Sakhalin.
It is possible to arrange a visit to the Chekhov Museum for an additional fee. The desire to visit the museum must be indicated when applying for the tour and no later than 3 days before the start of the tour.
