Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival, departure to the coast
A representative will meet you at the airport on this day and arrange a transfer to the hotel so that you can leave your luggage there or check in immediately (depending on the time of arrival, as well as the chosen accommodation option).
Free time until 15:30.
You can use this time to relax after the flight or spend it for your own pleasure: walk around the city, visit the regional museum of local lore or the Victory Museum, as well as taste the island cuisine.
Meeting at the reception desk at the hotel.
15:30 departure to the coast, where you will get your first acquaintance with the nature and history of Sakhalin Island, as well as a welcome seafood buffet with a glass of white wine / champagne!

Day 2 - Aniva Lighthouse Tour
Today you will have an early breakfast, because there is a busy day ahead, which will begin with a visit to Sakhalin's business card — the Aniva lighthouse!
This tour is perhaps the most striking sea tour of the island.
While traveling by boat along the coast, you will see magnificent waterfalls, eagles and seagulls soaring in the sky, seals that jump out of the water every now and then, and if you are lucky, you will meet dolphins, killer whales or whales!
The final destination is the Japanese—built Aniva Lighthouse, which looks more like an abandoned ancient castle.
On the way you will see Cape Bely Kamen, Cape Three Stones, waterfalls, the village of Novikovo, the village of Ozersk, the city of Korsakov.
You can have a snack in Marble Bay, where you will be offered sandwiches and mors/hot tea.
The approximate time of the tour is 06:00-16:00.

Day 3 - Baransky volcano. Natural Geothermal station
Breakfast at the hotel. Room release.
Transfer to the airport.
Departure to O. Iturup.
Meeting with the guide at the Kurilsk airport.
Check-in at the hotel/guest house.
After checking in, you will go to explore the island.
Today you will see the Baransky volcano and the Boiling Lake, where you can boil eggs right in the lake and try them with red caviar.
Also on this day you will see a natural geothermal station.
If desired, you can undergo wellness treatments in the Boiling River (payment is made additionally in cash on site).

Day 4 - White Rocks and the Grand Canyon, Black Rocks
After breakfast and a short tour of the city of Kurilsk, you will head to the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk.
One of the most beautiful and memorable places on the island is the White Cliffs and the Grand Canyon, as well as the Black Cliffs.
On the coast, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the splendor of unspoilt nature, breathe in fresh air saturated with marine aromas, and take amazing photos.
For lunch, you will find a delicious fish soup cooked over a campfire.
Bathing in hot springs on the way back is optional (paid on site additionally).

Day 5 - Golden Bay
Today we will look at the island from the water.
You will have a boat tour to the picturesque Zolotoy Bay, where on the way you can see marine animals in their natural habitat, bizarre kekura shapes, with carved relief rocks, grottoes, waterfalls.
According to weather conditions, it is possible to replace it with another sea excursion – the Chirip Peninsula and the Eye of the Dragon.
Bathing in hot springs on the way back is optional (paid on site additionally).
Day 6 - Kasatka Bay, Yankito Plateau
Today you will go to the Pacific coast.
Visit to Kasatka Bay and the Devil's Rock Cave.
The bay has been known since the Second World War, it was from it that the squadron went to Pearl Harbor, which dealt a devastating blow to the American military base.
You will be able to take stunning photos on the ocean shore against the background of the stranded Corund ship.
Lunch – picnic on the shore.
After lunch, visit the Yankito lava plateau, where you can swim in hot springs (extra charge on site).
In the evening, transfer to the airport and departure to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (O. Sakhalin).
Transfer from the airport to the hotel, check-in.

Day 7 - Jeep tour to Cape Giant (Bird)
On this day, the road to the eastern coast of Sakhalin awaits you.
You will find yourself on a wild sandy beach, where you can see majestic stone formations of bizarre shapes, stone arches and kekurs. On the shore you can find sea urchins and rapans washed ashore by the storm. And in August you will be able to watch how schools of pink salmon come to spawn.
Stop at Lake Tunaicha. On the beach in the village of Okhotsk, you can enjoy a necklace of lakes and a stunning panorama of the island from the observation deck on the pass.
For lunch, you will find a hot ear of seasonal red fish.
The tour will last approximately from 08:00 to 17:30.

Day 8 - Busse Lagoon
Today, the departure time depends on the time of low tide on the lake. The tour will last 10-12 hours.
Busse Lagoon is a specially protected natural area. The visit to the oyster jar is for informational purposes only.
You will have an exciting trip around the lagoon on a rowing catamaran.
You will get acquainted with the unique flora and fauna of Lake Busse, take part in a tasting of a giant oyster in raw and baked form, a sea urchin and a trumpeter with white wine or champagne. The chef will cook Sakhalin delicacies for you on the fire.
Upon your return to the city, you will have an evening in the creative workshop.
Each painting begins with inspiration, and it has accumulated enough during the journey. A painting painted with your own hands, with one of the iconic places of travel on the Kuril Islands, will be an excellent souvenir or gift.
In the evening, you will have a wine tasting and a buffet — everything to remember and relive the best moments of the trip.
Return to the hotel in the evening.
