Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

    After arriving in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, you will go to the hotel to relax and adjust to the new time zone.

    Check-in at the hotel after 14:00.

    In your free time, we recommend walking around the city: 

    • climb to the observation deck of the Mountain Air Group;
    • visit the Museum of Local Lore, the building of which is made in the Japanese style;
    • take a walk through the Gagarin Cultural Park.

The route is simple by tourist standards. All exits are light. But we walk every day and live in tents. The crossings are small, the maximum is up to 20 km a day. There are elevation differences, but they are also small. You just need a normal physical form.

Throughout the entire route, we will live in camping conditions — spend the night in tents and cook over a campfire. 

The exception will be:

  • 4 nights in comfortable cabins on ships during sea crossings between islands;
  • 2 nights in a hotel in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk;
  • 1 night in a hostel in Yuzhno-Kurilsk.

Single occupancy is possible on request and subject to availability, surcharge — 20,000 rubles.

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Shoes: 2 pairs of shoes (comfortable athletic shoes for going out, slates + boots).

A backpack with everything you need:

  • backpack or waterproof bag;
  • waterproof bag for things;
  • sleeping bag;
  • foam;
  • a flashlight and batteries for it;
  • hygiene items;
  • matches;
  • The lighter is sealed.

Clothes:

  • light hat;
  • gloves;
  • warm lightweight jacket;
  • raincoat;
  • membrane jacket and trousers;
  • thermal underwear;
  • fleece jacket;
  • trekking socks.
