Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Flight to Iturup Island and a trip to the lava plateau "Yankito"
Gathering of the group, on the porch of the Gagarin hotel (133 Komsomolskaya str.).

Transfer to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport. Check-in and baggage check-out.
Departure to Kurilsk (O. Iturup). Travel time is 1 hour and 5 minutes.
Arrival on the island Iturup (Kurilsk).
Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel, accommodation.
A trip to the lava plateau "Yankito" Kuril Bay — frozen volcanic lava in the form of a pile of rocks on the shore. Extraordinary landscapes and mysterious, exciting silhouettes.
Visit to the observation deck "Kitovy".
A visit to the thermal springs "Hot waters".

Day 2 - Kasatka Bay and Hot Waters thermal springs
Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure by prepared jeeps to Kasatka Bay.
Along the way, stops at the observation decks Bolshaya Horseshoe and Kuibyshevka.
There is an interesting geological object in the bay — the Devil's Rock (Chertovka) — an extrusive outlet of volcanic rocks forming an impassable cape (Tunnel), in which the Japanese dug tunnels for through passage, as well as for military purposes, the remains of these structures are still preserved.
The sandy shore of the bay has several local names — Mirror Beach, Low Tide, and until recently — Kuril asphalt.
A visit to the thermal springs "Hot waters".
Neutral sodium chloride siliceous water is suitable for bottling as a therapeutic canteen.
The water temperature of the Hot Water source exceeds +60°C.
The diseases in which courses of hydrotherapy and balneotherapy are shown are very wide: joint healing, kidney treatment, improvement of blood circulation, metabolic processes, sleep, well-being, tissue regeneration, stress resistance, immunity enhancement, etc.

An all-terrain vehicle may be used on this route (if the road is impassable).

Day 3 - Baransky volcano and thermal complex
Breakfast at the hotel.
A snowmobile ride to the foot of the Baransky volcano.
Bathing in artificial baths and waterfalls of the sulfur river Boiling with a water temperature of about 42 °C.
On the way, stop at the Trinoga observation deck at an altitude of 417 m.
From the top of the Trinoga there is a wonderful panoramic view of the central part of the island: Bogdan Khmelnitsky volcano, Kurilsky Bay, the city of Kurilsk, Yasny airport, Prostor Bay, the village of Reidovo, the Kurilka River and its source, the Grozny ridge with its volcanoes (Baransky, Tebenkova, Dragon, Ivan the Terrible, Ermak), Volchok Mountain, The lake is Sloping.
At the foot of the volcano, stop in the area of two small lakes with boiling water (temperature 96 °C), popularly called Emerald (Blue) Eyes, with the color of emerald or blue water.
The next stop is the recreation area on the sulfur river, Boiling, with a water temperature in the bathing area of about 42 °C.
The river originates from the slopes of the Baransky volcano and flows next to boiling lakes, mixes with their water and reaches a comfortable temperature for swimming in the area of the built recreation area.
For bathing, you must have a bathing suit, bath slippers, and a towel with you.
An all-terrain vehicle may be used on this route (if the road is impassable).

Day 4 - Completion of the program. Lava plateau "Yankito"
Breakfast in the hotel cafe.

A small hotel on the banks of the city's Kurilka River, a ten-minute walk from the city center.
