Itinerary

Day 1 - Sightseeing tour and the Hermitage
The meeting of the tour participants at the Moscow railway station at the bust of Peter the Great at 12:00.
A sightseeing bus tour of the city "New Year's Portrait of St. Petersburg" will present a city decorated with New Year's lights and garlands that create a festive mood. You will see the magnificent architectural ensembles of the University Embankment, the Arrows of Vasilievsky Island, the Field of Mars, Palace and Senate Squares, which created St. Petersburg the glory of one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and learn the names of the great architects who worked in this city.
Visit to the Hermitage, the greatest museum in the world. For almost two and a half centuries, it has collected one of the largest collections of monuments of world culture, numbering about three million exhibits. The unique interiors of the halls, paintings, sculptures, decorative and applied arts of different eras decorate the former royal residence.
Transportation is provided for the meeting, transfer to the hotel and the tour.

Day 2 - A free day or an excursion for an additional fee

Walking tour "Multifaceted Petersburg". The tour will begin in the parade center of the city.
You will see the ancient mansions of the St. Petersburg nobility, walk along the Moika River embankment and take an excursion to the Yusupov Palace — one of the rare noble estates in St. Petersburg, where not only the interiors of the state halls, an art gallery, a home theater have survived, but also the luxurious living quarters of the legendary Yusupov family, which preserved the warmth and charm of the former owners.
Then your way will run past the Mariinsky Theater and the St. Nicholas Epiphany Naval Cathedral, through the Kolomna district - the most "Petersburg" corner of the city, where the spirit of bohemian life, theater and eternal celebration rules. This tour will end with a visit to the Nikolsky Rows public space. An amazing place created in the courtyard of an ancient, restored Gostiny Dvor. The atmosphere of the New Year reigns here: a winter fair, garlands of lights, a New Year's fluffy fir tree, "gluttonous" rows, where we will pamper ourselves with delicious hot mulled wine!
Day 3 - A free day or an excursion for an additional fee

Walking tour "Two islands, three centuries". The epithet "the most" can be used in the description of all the objects of this tour, and it begins with an excursion to St. Isaac's Cathedral. The temple built by the arch. Built by Montferrand in 1858, it is an outstanding architectural monument. The former main cathedral of the Russian Empire, the largest cathedral in the city is able to accommodate about 14,000 people. It impresses with the richness of the interior, decorated with various grades of marble, malachite and lapis lazuli columns, paintings and mosaics.
The tour will continue with an acquaintance with the most recognizable monument of our city, the "Bronze Horseman", created for the 100th anniversary of the accession of Peter the Great to the throne.
The tour will end on the man-made island of New Holland. This is the youngest park in St. Petersburg, which is a unique cultural public space, with museums, restaurants, exhibitions, recreation areas, playgrounds, workshops and concerts, located on the territory of an architectural monument of the XVIII century.
For an additional fee:
Evening bus tour "Festive traditions and famous gifts" with a visit to the Faberge Museum. This tour will tell you about the traditions of celebrating Christmas and New Year in Russia, how they prepared, what was served on the table, what gifts were accepted to give. And at the end you will see a magnificent collection of precious items from the famous Faberge jewelry house.

Day 4 - Tsarskoye Selo
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
A country tour to Tsarskoye Selo with a visit to the Catherine Palace and the park. The tour of the palace museum does not leave people of all ages and generations indifferent. The interiors of the state halls and rooms are unique, the pearls of which remain the Amber Room and the Large Throne Hall of Mirrors with an area of one thousand square meters, where receptions, balls and masquerades were held.
Transportation is provided for a country trip.
The tour ends no later than 20:00 in the city center.

The tour was well-organized, and the preloaded transit card included in the package was incredibly useful—such a great idea! However, unfortunately, in my case, there was no mention of it anywhere—not on the envelope with the vouchers, nor in the printed tour program. It also wasn’t brought up in my communication with the manager. As a result, we had to figure out on our own what the card was and how to use it. We only realized later that it already had money loaded onto it—when we happened to use it. Luckily, we traveled around the city a lot, so the balance on the card was put to good use. That being said, to be fair, I should note that other tour participants mentioned they did receive this information on their envelope and that their manager informed them about it when sending the tour details.
