The former main cathedral of the Russian Empire, the largest cathedral in the city, can accommodate about 14,000 people.

The entire interior of the cathedral from the basement to the main dome is covered with an amazing mosaic carpet of icons and ornaments. The temple's decoration is considered to be the rarest collection of Russian mosaic art in Russia.

An excursion to the Hermitage, a kind of temple of beauty, history and culture, will introduce you to the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo and other great masters.

Here you can watch the movement of 130 ships made according to historical models, watch fist fights during Maslenitsa and dances of the nobility at imperial receptions in Peterhof.
