You arrive at the hotel on your own.

Kuskovo is the estate of the Counts Sheremetevs in the east of modern Moscow, which has remained virtually unchanged since the second half of the XVIII century. On the territory of the ensemble there is a palace, a church, a Dutch house, an Italian house, the Hermitage pavilion and the Grotto pavilion. The unique architecture and exquisite decoration will not leave anyone indifferent!

During the sightseeing tour, you will see not only the main architectural masterpieces of St. Petersburg, but also visit Zayachy Island, where Peter the Great founded the fortress that marked the beginning of St. Petersburg.
A tour of the Peter and Paul Fortress.
Peter and Paul Fortress is the "heart" of the city, the place from which the history of St. Petersburg began. You will see a "city within a city" – typical buildings of Peter the Great's time, the operating enterprise "Mint", where commemorative coins, orders and medals are still minted. You will visit the Peter and Paul Cathedral, where the graves of Russian emperors and empresses, as well as grand dukes and princesses have been preserved.
Excursion to the Peter and Paul Cathedral.
For a long time, the Peter and Paul Cathedral was a monument to the glory of Russian weapons. Captured banners and keys to cities and fortresses captured by Russian troops have been kept here for two centuries. At the beginning of the 20th century, these relics were transferred to the Hermitage. Copies of Swedish and Turkish banners are now displayed in the cathedral.
Visit to the Trubetskoy Bastion prison.
During the tour you will also visit the famous "Russian Bastille" - the Trubetskoy Bastion prison, where many famous Russian political figures were held.

Day 5 - Bus tour to Peterhof

The tour along the road to Peterhof introduces you to the picturesque landscape of the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland, the preserved estates of the St. Petersburg nobility and the history of the road specially built for a comfortable journey from St. Petersburg to Peterhof.

A tour of the Peterhof Fountain Park.
The lower park has an area of 102 hectares and stretches for more than 2 kilometers along the shore of the Gulf of Finland. It took incredible efforts to turn the deserted marshy coast of the Gulf of Finland into a luxurious park with fountains and cascades. Moreover, all the work was done manually – tons of fertile land were imported, ornamental trees and shrubs were planted, which were able to take root in the cold northern climate. Peterhof is the capital of fountains, a magical garden with a palace topped with a golden vase standing on the roof. Its base is the Grand Cascade, an incredible water extravaganza with fountains and sculptures.

Where to have lunch?
After the tour, you will have 1.5-2 hours of free time to walk around the park and have a snack on your own. There are fast food outlets on the territory of the park, as well as the Standart cafe, where the cost of a set lunch is 700-1500 rubles per person. If you want to save money, we recommend taking drinks and snacks with you and having a picnic on the shore of the Gulf of Finland.

Day 6 - Bus tour to Tsarskoye Selo

Bus tour to Tsarskoye Selo "Suburban imperial residences".
The city is located 25 km from St. Petersburg - about an hour's drive away. You will drive along the old Tsarskoye Selo road and learn how you traveled in Russia before the advent of highways and railways. The magnificent and unique Catherine Palace brought special fame to Tsarskoye Selo. This is where you will visit.
Excursion to the Catherine Palace with the Amber Room.
Guests of Tsarskoye Selo are stunned by the fantastic luxury of the decoration of the Catherine Palace. One of the halls of Rastrelli's Golden Suite is the famous Amber Room, stolen by the occupiers during the Great Patriotic War and recreated by St. Petersburg restorers, whose work you can appreciate during a tour of the Catherine Palace.
A walk through the Catherine Park.
After the tour of the palace, you will have 1.5-2 hours of free time to walk around the magnificent park surrounding the palace on your own. Russian Russian Museum is decorated with exquisite pavilions, bizarrely shaped ponds and numerous monuments in honor of the victories of Russian weapons during the Russo-Turkish wars.

Where to have lunch?
There are no full-fledged food outlets in the park, only outside it. Therefore, we recommend taking drinks and snacks with you and having a picnic while walking around Catherine Park.

You will walk along the Palace Square, and a visit to the State Hermitage Museum will reveal some of the secrets of the personal life of the royal personages and introduce you to the magnificent Winter Palace - the ceremonial winter residence of the Russian Imperial court.

Excursion to the Hermitage.
The Hermitage occupies a very special place among the art museums of the world. It began as a private collection of Empress Catherine II and remained closed to the general public for a long time. In the middle of the XIX century, the museum became public. Now his collections number more than 3.5 million exhibits. Among them are masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Impressionist paintings, antique sculpture, Egyptian antiquities, a real mummy and much more.

After the tour of the museum, you will have the opportunity to walk around the halls of the Hermitage on your own and examine its exhibits in more detail.

The tour was absolutely wonderful! Each day was packed with incredible experiences, all of them very positive. Our guide, Anastasia Pokrovskaya, was fantastic! The only downside was the accommodation in St. Petersburg – Hotel "Moscow" didn’t quite meet the promised comfort level. Next time I visit this amazing city, I’ll be choosing different lodging.
