Itinerary

Day 1 - Bus sightseeing tour "New Year's Mosaic". Yusupov Palace
You arrive at the hotel on your own.
A transfer to the hotel from the train station/ airport is available for an additional fee and must be booked in advance: from 2,300 rubles/car.
From 10:00 a.m. until departure for the program, a representative of the company with a sign "About Petersburg" will meet you in the lobby of the hotel. You can approach at any convenient time in this interval.
He will answer all your questions, provide updated tour programs and offer additional excursions that you can purchase at will.

Tourists staying at the Dostoevsky, St. Petersburg and Azimut Hotel St. Petersburg hotels go on excursions from the hotel.;
Tourists staying at the A Hotel Fontanka come to the Azimut Hotel St. Petersburg (43/1 Lermontovsky Ave., adjacent building) for a meeting and departure for excursions.
Check-in at the hotel after 14:00/15:00 depending on the hotel. You can leave your belongings in the luggage room of the hotel.

To continue the tour, we invite you to one of the most luxurious palaces in St. Petersburg - the Palace of the Princes Yusupov on the Moika River embankment.
Excursion to the Yusupov Palace. The Yusupov Palace is one of the rare mansions where not only the main halls, but also the private chambers of the owners have survived.
The appearance of the palace reflected both the Oriental origin of the owners, as well as the delicate taste and unlimited financial possibilities.

Day 3 - Tsarskoye Selo, Catherine Palace and Park

Bus tour to Tsarskoye Selo "Suburban imperial residences". Tsarskoye Selo is the ceremonial summer residence of the Russian emperors, one of the most beautiful palace and park ensembles in Europe.
Russian sovereigns lived in this picturesque place during the warmer months, and then official receptions, lavish balls and entertainment court events were held here.
Excursion to the Catherine Palace with the Amber Room. The Catherine Palace was originally created by architect F.B. Rastrelli as a place of official receptions for Russian nobility and foreign diplomats.
Stretching for almost 300 meters, the suite of rooms and state halls, richly decorated with intricate carvings and gilding, will certainly not leave you indifferent. And the "highlight" of the palace is the famous Amber Room.
A walk through the Catherine Park. After the tour of the palace, you will have an hour of free time to walk around the magnificent park surrounding the palace on your own.
Russian Russian Museum is decorated with exquisite pavilions and numerous monuments in honor of the victories of Russian weapons during the Russo-Turkish wars.

Day 4 - Peterhof and the Grand Imperial Palace

10:00 Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby.
Peterhof bus tour "Palaces and manors of the seaside". Peterhof is one of the most beautiful suburbs of St. Petersburg, where the first ceremonial country residence appeared at the beginning of the 18th century. Peter the Great called it "my seaside paradise."
Excursion to the Grand Imperial Palace. The majestic, luxurious, and exquisite palace is the center of the entire Peterhof ensemble.
It was there that important decisions were made for the country, balls, masquerades, celebrations and receptions of distinguished guests were held.

Day 5 - Hermitage
Breakfast at the hotel.
Room release. You can leave your belongings in the luggage room of the hotel or take a bus with you.

Excursion to the Hermitage. The Hermitage is one of the largest art museums in the world. It began as a private collection of Empress Catherine II and remained closed to the general public for a long time.
Now his collections number more than 3.5 million exhibits. Among them are masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, antique sculpture, Egyptian antiquities, a real mummy and much more.
The program ends at Moskovsky train Station (the nearest metro station is Ploshchad Vosstaniya).

I had no idea what to expect from this tour. I came across a website online and decided to fill out the booking form, though I was quite nervous about whether it was trustworthy.
