Today we will walk the route of the discoverers of Tyumen oil, learn all about its occurrence and production, how they tried to find oil in Tyumen, but found mineral water.
But the memorial sign of the first reference well is located in Tyumen.
And despite the fact that the first Siberian oil fountain was built in the Khanty–Mansi Autonomous Okrug, and not in Tyumen, Tyumen has rightfully borne the proud title of the oil capital of Russia since the middle of the last century, and recently Russians have also called it the capital of thermal waters!
You will see the buildings of that distant time, in which the oil and gas complex was formed, and you will hear the names to which the Tyumen Region owes its oil breakthrough.
