The observation deck is open in the upper part of the city, offering a fantastic view of the lower part and the entire surrounding tundra.
The staircase leading to the fifth microdistrict has become a popular tourist route.

Day 4 -
Putorana Plateau
Breakfast at the Talnakh restaurant.
Transfer to the pier, boarding a boat on the Norilka river.
Departure by boat to the Putorana Plateau, Lake Lama (5 hours on the way).
Next, our path lies along the Talaya River, we climb up to the island of Melkoe.
The lake is connected to Lake Lama by the strait or, as the locals call it, the Lama River (Lamochen) with a length of 18 km.
Here is the famous Lake Lama – northern Switzerland, Taimyr Lake Baikal, the polar Ritsa.
Excursion to the waterfall "Southern Neralakh".

Dixon. The bay of the Kara Sea

The nature of the eastern part of the Chichagov coast is more severe.
Closer to the bay of the Pyasina River, icebergs are also found – massifs that broke off from the ice shelves.
Sailing ships without the help of powerful icebreakers in these places is possible only during 2-3 summer months.
The sparse sparse vegetation consists mainly of perennial plants.
Mosses and lichens predominate, creeping forms of shrubs, there are few herbs.

Useful information
Before starting the tour, please familiarize yourself with the weather conditions of the territory.
Do not take large suitcases with you (there is no elevator in hotels on Taimyr: namely, in the Yenisei Lights Hotel (Dudinka), Victoria (Dudinka), ArktikTuristik (Dudinka), in the Talnakh Hotel). Things should be essential, the load should be minimal.

It was an impressive trip with a very diverse route. The food was plentiful, maybe even a bit too much. For such a long journey, there wasn’t as much walking as I would have liked.
