Itinerary

Day 1 - Sightseeing tour of Novosibirsk. Visit to the Museum of Local Lore
Arrival in Novosibirsk.
Meeting at the airport at 07:00. Transfer to the hotel.
Early check-in at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Rest after the flight.
Sightseeing tour of Novosibirsk. Novosibirsk is located on the Priobsky plateau next to the reservoir, and the emergence of the first Russian settlement on the territory of the modern city dates back to the last decade of the 17th century.
Novosibirsk received its current name in 1926. Today it is the cultural, scientific, transport, industrial, business and trade center of Siberia.
During the city tour, we will see the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Opera House, Novosibirsk Main Railway Station and other significant sights of the city.
Lunch.
Guided tour of the Museum of Local Lore (permanent exhibition). Temporary exhibitions are optional, a ticket is available additionally.
Free time.
Day 2 - The Museum of Gold Mining. Excursion to the prospector's estate
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the village of Yegoryevskoye, Maslyaninsky district.
Siberia is not only about valuable fur, frost and dumplings, but also about gold.
We are going to go for the golden treasures of the Salair ridge, to an ancient village where solar metal has been mined for more than two hundred years.
We will visit the gold mining museum, learn the history of the rare fishery and the village of Yegoryevskoye as a whole, go down into the tunnel to feel like real prospectors.
Lunch (extra charge).
Excursion to the prospector's estate. The wooden hut recreates in great detail the way of life of the people who were the first to mine gold here.
In addition to the hut, we will see a horse shelter, a black bathhouse, a barn, unique antiques, tools and photographs.
A walk through the "golden village of Siberia", in which, until the nineties, the gold mining group worked under the "secret" label, since the Egoriev gold was of the highest quality. Metal mining continues here today, but in an open-source way.
Return to the hotel.

Day 3 - Kolyvan city tour. Visit to the Alexander Nevsky Convent. Chatsky Tatar Manor Museum Tour
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the village of Kolyvan.
Kolyvan city tour. Kolyvan traces its history back to the Chaussky prison, which was founded to defend the southern borders of the Russian state in Western Siberia from the raids of the Kyrgyz.
A new impetus to the development of the settlement was given by the Siberian tract, which passed through the prison at the end of the XVIII century.
Later, the city assumed a function typical of Siberian settlements of that time: it became a place of permanent exile, and also had to serve a segment of the route along the Siberian Highway for exiles and convicts.
Visit to the Alexander Nevsky Convent.
Transfer to the village of Yurt-Ora.
Excursion to the Chatsky Tatar Manor Museum (extra charge). There is a hut in the estate, which recreates the national historical way of life and the way of life of the Tatar chat family, stands with unique archival materials about the genera of the village, traditional national clothes, shoes and other rarities.
A Tatar courtyard with all the elements: a rear fence, a vegetable garden, a black bathhouse, household items (a dugout boat, a harness, a cart).
Obelisk to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
Visit to a Muslim mosque.
Traditional national lunch of the Chat Tatars (extra charge).
Return to Novosibirsk.

Day 4 - Transfer to Akademgorodok with passage over the Bugrinsky bridge and the hydroelectric dam. Visit to the Museum of the Peoples of Siberia and the Far East.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Akademgorodok with passage over the Bugrinsky bridge and the hydroelectric dam. Sightseeing tour of Akademgorodok: monument to the laboratory mouse, monument to Academician Belyaev (with a domestic fox), Upper Zone of Akademgorodok, University, cottages, including the house of Academician Lavrentiev.
Lunch.
Visit to the Museum of the Peoples of Siberia and the Far East.
Return to Novosibirsk.

Day 5 - Vivid program "Ten Tastes of Siberia" at the first Russian gastronomic theater Puppenhaus
Breakfast at the hotel.
The bright program "Ten Tastes of Siberia" at the first Russian gastronomic theater Puppenhaus, winner of the Palme d'Or in Moscow for the best restaurant concept and the European Palme d'Or (Basel, Switzerland).
A unique opportunity to try specialties from northern fish, taiga game and wild plants, as well as tinctures of our own production on Siberian berries and herbs.
Russian russians tour the interiors of the gastrotheater, assembled from unique world-class collections: antique Russian furniture, Soviet and Russian porcelain, original paintings by the Siberian impressionist Leonid Ivanov, whose works participated in Sotheby's auctions.
As well as a collection of real antique theatrical puppets from all over the world, numbering about 500 exhibits, the oldest of which is more than 300 years old.
Walking tour to Sbitnevar's House. Let's continue our delicious acquaintance with Siberia in the Sibirskaya Volya bakery.
Guests will enjoy a tasting program with Siberian sbitni and gingerbread. The program is accompanied by a story about the history of brewing, about various herbs and an interactive gingerbread.
We will grind Thursday's salt in a mortar and taste it. A pleasant surprise awaits everyone at the end of the program.
Return to the hotel for your belongings.

I'm so glad I chose the 'Across the Expanses of Perm the Great' tour in July 2024. It was a high-quality, engaging, and thoughtfully designed journey through the entire Perm region. The trip was full of fascinating discoveries: ancient monasteries, unique museums, the distinctive Permian animal style and wooden deities, the history of salt production and the Stroganovs in the Urals, and much more. The natural beauty of Parma was breathtaking: dense forests, countless rivers, mountains, and even an ice cave. The hotels were comfortable, and the breakfasts and lunches were tasty, often featuring elements of local cuisine. Traveling in a small group made the experience even more enjoyable, after all, it's usually seasoned travelers who venture to the Perm region. One special moment was when we all got to bake and taste traditional gingerbread made from an old recipe, for many of us, it was a first.
