Novosibirsk is located on the Priobsky plateau next to the reservoir, and the emergence of the first Russian settlement on the territory of the modern city dates back to the last decade of the XVII century.
During the city tour, we will see the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Opera House, Novosibirsk Main Railway station and other significant sights of the city.

Excursion to Novosibirsk zoo named after R.A.Shilo
Novosibirsk Zoo is one of the largest zoos in Russia.
The zoo covers an area of 65 hectares, home to eleven thousand individuals of 770 species.
Many of them are listed in the International Red Book, the Red Book of Russia and regional Red Books, and an international breeding book is maintained for 110 species.
In the Novosibirsk Zoo you can meet a giant flying squirrel, an Altai horse, a llama, a camel, a lemur, a lori, a kangaroo, a snow fox, an ostrich and other representatives of the animal world.

Day 2 - Akademgorodok. Museum of the History and Culture of the Peoples of Siberia

A tour of Akademgorodok.
Akademgorodok is one of the most important scientific and educational centers in Russia, where dozens of research institutes and the famous Novosibirsk State University are located. Novosibirsk Akademgorodok has become one of the centers not only of scientific thought, but also of everything progressive that was in the USSR. It originated in the 50s, in a forest area near Novosibirsk.
Excursion to the Museum of History and Culture of the Peoples of Siberia and the Far East.
The museum was created after the organization of the first humanitarian institute in the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1964 – the Institute of History of Philology and Philosophy. Currently, the museum is located in the building of the laboratory and exhibition complex of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography SB RAS. The museum's exposition is divided into epochs: Paleolithic, Neolithic, Bronze, Early Iron Age, Middle Ages. The last hall is dedicated to the spiritual culture of the modern peoples of Siberia and the Far East.
The museum is famous for the fact that it houses one of the two mummies found in the Altai highlands. (extra charge).

Day 3 - Excursion to Suzun village

Transfer to the village of Suzun.
Suzun is a quiet and cozy village.
In addition to the "factory monuments-museums", there are also truly historical objects: a parish school, a factory pond, several good-quality Siberian houses of the XIX century.
Visit to the Museum and tourist complex "Suzun-zavod. The Mint."
In the ancient village of Suzun, the Nizhne-Suzun Copper smelter and mint were built in 1764.
Excursion to the museum of the Copper Smelter.
The museum is located in a renovated room of one of the workshops of the Suzun copper smelter of the XVIII century.
The central exhibits of the museum are the reconstruction of the smelting furnace "shpleisofen", a working model of one of the factory machines — "Tolchei for Soru" and a large-scale model of the Suzun of the late XVIII century.
Excursion to the Mint Museum.
The museum's exposition presents the process of making coins from cutting down the billet to applying a relief image to the coin circle, and in the "Coin Pantry" a rich numismatic collection from the museum's funds is demonstrated.

Excursion to the museum of the House and the office of the manager.
The premises of the office house of mining engineer and famous writer of the XIX century A. Cherkasov have been recreated here: A living room, a study and a kitchen with samples of wooden furniture produced in Suzun.
Excursion to the museum of the Siberian folk icon.
The museum is dedicated to the icons of folk craftsmen, and directly to the representatives of the Suzun icon painting workshop.
It is located in a monument building of regional significance "The building of the parish school" built in the XIX century.
Return to Novosibirsk.
Day 4 - Kolyvan – Yurt-Oru
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Kolyvan.
A walk around the city.
Kolyvan is a corner of ancient Russia, which still carefully preserves its historical wealth.
There are stone and wooden merchant mansions, houses of peasants and artisans decorated with openwork carvings, and the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity and the Temple of Alexander Nevsky are particularly admired.
Excursion to the Museum of local lore.
Today, several expositions are presented in the halls of the museum: "The merchants of the city of Kolyvan", "The place of Kolyvan in the history of the Russian state", "The life of peasants of the XIX-XX centuries" and other exhibitions.
The museum is located in the historical quarter, where the monument to Nicholas the Wonderworker is located, a fragment of Moskovskaya Street representing the wooden architecture of Kolyvan and the restored mansions of merchants are presented.
Transfer to Yurt-Ora.
Visit to the ethnographic complex “Manor of the Chatsky Tatar".
The museum consists of rooms built at the beginning of the twentieth century: a hut where the national-historical way of life and lifestyle of the Tatar family are recreated, traditional national clothes, stands with unique archival materials about the village families from the XVI century, shoes and other rarities. A wonderful tour with a rich and engaging itinerary. Our guide, Svetlana, was very responsible and did an excellent job, explaining everything in detail. I was pleased with both the hotels and the food. Adding extra lunches was a great decision; it made everything more convenient, and I especially enjoyed the Pomor-style lunch at the Pomor restaurant. The transportation was also comfortable and reliable.
