Day 1 - Paris — Longyearbyen. Boarding
Longyearbyen is the northernmost capital on the planet. The scenery of this mining town is simply breathtaking. Glaciers, mountains, and unspoilt nature make you feel like you're in completely unexplored territory.

Day 2 - Hornsund

Day 4 - Ice swimming

Day 5 - Makeyane / Glacier of Monaco
Makeeyane is a small archipelago in the heart of Woodfjord, located at the intersection of Bokfjord and Lifdefjord.
Passing by the small islands, you can watch Arctic terns, whose eggs sometimes attract polar bears.
Then you will find yourself next to the majestic and most beautiful glacier of Svalbard, the Monaco Glacier, which is named after Prince Albert I.

Day 6 - Raudfjord / Smerenburg
Raudfjord means "red fjord", based on the color of the sandstone of the surrounding mountains. The western coast of this 20-kilometer fjord is dissected by many shallow bays, and at the tip of the fjord are the magnificent Shovobrin and Raudfjordbrin glaciers.
In the afternoon, surrounded by hills, steep slopes, lakes and lagoons, you will anchor on the sandy beach of Amsterdam Island, where the Dutch Smerenburg whaling station was once located.
This is one of the most important archaeological sites in Svalbard, where furnaces that were used to melt whale oil have been preserved. At the height of whaling, 200 people worked here, and several of them are buried here.

Day 7 - Nu-Aalesund / Kongsfjord
During your cruise, discover Nu Aalesund, a former mining town that has been turned into a scientific base. Founded in 1916, it was the starting point for many Arctic expeditions, including the famous explorer Roald Amundsen.
Don't miss a visit to the museum and the famous post office, considered the northernmost in the world.
