The Kazan Kremlin is the main attraction of the city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and the state museum-Reserve, which is visited by thousands of tourists every year. The white Stone Kremlin is the heart of the ancient city, embodying the culture of the West and the east. The minarets of the main mosque of the city of Kul Sharif have soared up here (visit) and the domes of the oldest Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation sparkle with gold. On the territory of the fortress there is one of the symbols of Kazan — the famous "falling" tower of Hanshi Syuyumbike.

17:45 Kazan Shrine. A visit to the Kazan Bogoroditsky Monastery, the history of which is inextricably linked with the acquisition, glorification and veneration in Russia of the miraculous Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. After 1579, Kazan became the holy place of Russia, where the Mother of God herself suddenly showed the greatest mercy. Kazan Icon… Who didn't know her in Russia? This icon is one of the most revered in the Russian Church. They pray to her, they make requests to her. At the same time, few people ask themselves what path the miraculous icon has traveled and where did it come from?

Almost a hundred years ago, in 1932, Kazan lost one of its main sites – the Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. But now, years later, the cathedral was erected on the site of the miraculous image, "returned" to its historical place, in its former appearance. And it is difficult to overestimate the spiritual significance of such a recreation.

Visit the Memorial sign built in honor of the official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgars in 922, where the largest printed Koran in the world is kept.

Inspection of one of the most significant structures that have added to the modern collection of Tatarstan's architectural heritage — Ak Mosque (White Mosque). 

No photo can fully convey the splendor and solemnity of this miracle. 

The pond, which reflects the white decorum of the structure, gives the mosque a resemblance to the Indian Taj Mahal.

Excursion “Citadel of the Conqueror” to the island-city of Sviyazhsk.

Sviyazhsk is an ancient fortress built during the reign of Ivan the Terrible, it served as a military outpost in the Volga region and a place of preparation for military units to march on the impregnable fortress of Kazan. 

The tour route in Sviyazhsk includes unique historical monuments: the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Mourn", one of the oldest wooden churches in Russia – the Church of the Holy Trinity, the active Assumption Monastery with an architectural ensemble of the 16th and 17th centuries, a horse yard and craft workshops, Rozhdestvenskaya Square with views of the water expanses and the Uslonsky Mountains.

Free time is provided during the tour (independently: museums, souvenir shops, lunch).
