Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Murmansk. Hunting for the Northern Lights
Arrival in Murmansk.
We recommend arriving in Murmansk before 16:00 on the first day so that you have time to relax and leave your things.
Airport transfer is not included in the tour price (as guests often arrive at different times). The cost of a Yandex Taxi to Murmansk is approximately 1000 rubles.
19:00 Welcome dinner at a restaurant in the center of Murmansk. Included in the price of the tour. We will try the Arctic cuisine and get to know the team.
Departure for a tour of the Northern Lights. The duration of the tour is 3-5 hours.
Photography is included in the price of the tour.
This Arctic Autumn program includes 2 trips to the Northern Lights without additional charges, which increases our chances of seeing it up to 98%!
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and no one can guarantee its appearance. If we do not see the northern lights during trips to the northern Lights, then there are no discounts and refunds.
How the Northern Lights tour is going:
The gathering of tourists takes place in the parking lot at the Azimut or Meridian hotel (in the center of Murmansk). Approximate time of the training camp: 20:00-22:00. The exact time will be announced by the organizer the day before. Please do not be late and come 10 minutes before the start.
Let's go on tour! The duration of the "hunt" is 3-5 hours, depending on how quickly we find the starry sky. The most northern lights can appear at any moment!
Photography is included in the price of the tour. First, we will take group photos, then individual ones on a first-come, first-served basis.
To keep warm, you will be offered hot tea with light snacks (sweets, chocolate, cookies).
During the tour, the guide will tell you about the nature of the northern lights, and how it happens.
After the tour, you will be taken to your place of residence in Murmansk. The approximate time of return to Murmansk is 00:00-02:00 at night.
You will receive photos after the tour for 3-4 days in the format of a link to Google Drive or Yandex Disk.

Day 2 - Excursion to the Sami village
The gathering of tourists takes place at the entrance of the Azimut hotel. Please do not be late and come 10 minutes before the start.
The exact time will be announced by the coordinator the day before.
We are going to an ethnic village.
The journey time will take about 1 hour.
Arrival, acquaintance.
The program awaits us:
Let's meet the handsome reindeer.
Let's feed the deer with yagel.
We'll take memorable photos, there's even a "model" deer living here.
We will visit the national dwelling, sit on warm reindeer skins, and taste the national cuisine.
We will take part in a cooking class.
We will cook Sami fish soup on the fire, bake potatoes and deer tenderloin in coals.
Over a cup of tea, let's talk about the Sami people. Let's talk about our history, traditions, and way of life. Let's talk about Sami and the Sami language.
At parting, we will learn a little secret, thanks to which your perhaps most cherished wish will come true!
Return to Murmansk. The approximate time of arrival in the city is 14:00-15:00.
Under favorable weather conditions, it is the second trip to hunt for the northern lights.

Day 3 - A trip to the edge of the earth in Teriberka and a boat trip
09:00 Start of the tour from the Azimut hotel. Please do not be late and come 10 minutes before the start.
The exact time and place of the training camp will be announced by the coordinator the day before.
Let's go on tour! The average travel time is 2.5 hours, taking into account stops, the distance is 130 kilometers.
The program of the excursion to Teriberka:
We make stops in picturesque places to observe landscapes with Arctic tundra, lakes and northern expanses.
Arrival in Teriberka, and the first location to visit is the eternal parking lot of abandoned fishing ships.
A walk to the coast of the Barents Sea (stone beach "dragon eggs").
A walk to the waterfall flowing into the sea. We will be here for about 30 minutes so that you have enough time to take beautiful photos at the edge of the earth.
Departure to the old Teriberka.
We are going to the pier. Attention! Berths do not have convenient access to boats due to strong tides. We'll have to go down the steep stairs. All berths in Teriberka were equipped for fishing and the corresponding boats.
The duration of the boat trip is about 2-3 hours. If we are lucky, we will see marine life: whales, dolphins, fur seals and others.
Set lunch at one of the local cafes (included in the price).
Rest, walk, completion of the program.
Return to Murmansk. Free time.
Important! The boat trip is relevant for dates in October–November. If the boat trip does not take place due to bad weather (strong wind, high wave, etc.), then the captain of the boat has the right to cancel going to sea. In this case, guests will receive a discount of 2,000 rubles per 1 person.

Day 4 - Murmansk City Tour
The gathering of tourists takes place at the entrance of the Azimut hotel.
We recommend leaving your belongings at the reception at the Azimut Hotel on the 2nd floor.
After the tour, we return to the Azimuth, where you can pick up your belongings and go from the city to the airport.
Departure for a sightseeing tour. Please do not be late and arrive 10 minutes before departure.
During the tour you will visit all the main sights of Murmansk:
Marine station with a small embankment, inspection and visit of the world's first nuclear icebreaker "Lenin".
The memorial to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic during the Great Patriotic War is Alyosha, located on the Green Cape hill, offering panoramic views of the whole of Murmansk.
Memorial complex for sailors who died in peacetime. The ensemble includes: the cabin of the Kursk submarine, a ship's anchor, a hexagonal lighthouse.
After the tour, we go to the cafe for a set lunch (included in the price).
Return to the Azimuth Hotel.
Completion of the program.
We recommend buying tickets departing from Murmansk after 19:00.
If most of our guests have the same flight time, then a free transfer to the airport will be arranged for you.
