Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Murmansk. Hunting for the Northern Lights

    You can arrive in the capital of the Arctic at any time convenient for you, but we recommend that you do so before 17:00 so that you can check into the hotel, leave your things, relax and have dinner before the most interesting.

    Let's start exploring the Arctic by realizing the most cherished dream of any northern traveler – we will go hunting for the northern Lights.

    In person, it looks like real magic that cannot be expressed in words. A real hunt awaits you with experienced guides who know all the signs and "symptoms" for catching the northern lights. Our departure will last from 3 to 5 hours, it will depend on the weather conditions.

    In this tour, we have included 2 trips for the Northern Lights at no extra charge, and this increases the chances of seeing it up to 98%. But remember that the northern Lights are a natural phenomenon that is beyond the control of the tour operator.

    How is the Northern Lights tour going?

    • We will meet in the parking lot at the entrance to the Azimut Hotel in the center of Murmansk. The gathering will take place from about 20:00 to 22:00, our coordinator will inform you in advance of the exact time and place of the gathering.;
    • After collecting, we will embark on an exciting journey. The duration of the Northern Lights hunt is 3-5 hours, depending on how quickly we can enjoy the splendor of the starry sky. Remember that the Northern Lights themselves can appear in front of us at any moment.;
    • To capture this unique moment with high quality, a photo shoot is already included in the price of the tour. First, we will take group photos, and then each participant will have the opportunity to create an individual photo in turn.;
    • To keep warm while observing the natural wonder, you will find hot tea with treats: sweets, chocolate and cookies. After completing the tour, our team will arrange a convenient return to Murmansk. The approximate time of return to the city is from midnight to 02:00 a.m.;
    • To preserve the memories of this unforgettable trip, we will provide you with a link to download photos within 3-4 days after the trip.
