Arctic autumn. 4 days on the Kola Peninsula

The hero city of Murmansk is not called the "gateway to the Arctic" for nothing. Grandiose monuments, harsh landscapes — this amazing city offers endless possibilities for travelers.

After breakfast at the hotel, we gather in the center of Murmansk and go on a tour (the coordinator will inform you about the exact time and place of the meeting the day before).

During the sightseeing tour you will see the iconic places of the city:

1. Monument to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic "Alyosha" on the Green Cape hill.
2. Murmansk lighthouse with the deckhouse of the Kursk submarine.
3. The monument "Waiting", dedicated to all women waiting for their husbands from long voyages.
4. Marine station.
5. Murmansk seaport, where the icebreaker Lenin is based (a visit to the Icebreaker Lenin Museum is included in the price of the tour).

After the tour, we will have a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, which is another opportunity to enjoy a variety of natural, delicate flavors of the north, as well as socializing with fellow travelers who have already become friends.

After a hearty lunch, we go for an Arctic swim.

Upon arrival at the base, we change into special thermal suits that allow us to stay afloat in warmth and dryness. You've never experienced such emotions before, that's for sure!

In the evening, if the weather conditions are favorable, we will go on our second trip for the northern Lights.

If the weather on the second day is not optimal, we will postpone the departure until the evening of the third day.

Teriberka is the most alluring settlement on the Kola Peninsula, and only once there will you understand why.

So, we're heading towards the ocean! The journey will take about 2.5 hours, and your guide will fill them with interesting stories about the region. But it's not enough to hear, the Arctic needs to be seen and felt. Therefore, stops are provided in the most beautiful places along the route. You will step into the endless expanses of the northern tundra and enjoy its restrained, mysterious beauty.

Upon arrival in Teriberka, we will immediately go for a walk through the ship cemetery, where you will fully experience the transience of time and make atmospheric, memorable shots.

Next, the plan is to have lunch at one of the best local restaurants, where you will taste the freshest seafood and taste the Arctic.

We have mapped out a route through the most impressive corners of the natural park, where you will find a "heavenly" swing, a beach "dragon eggs", a whale skeleton and the ocean coast.

After a busy day in Teriberka, we return to Murmansk.

The program will start with breakfast at the hotel, after which our adventure will start.

We will meet with the guide in the city center (the coordinator will inform you about the exact time and place of the meeting the day before) and set off on our way.

The first point of our route will be an ethnic village, a place where the culture of the indigenous peoples of the North lives. Here you will plunge into the atmosphere of traditional life and get acquainted with the customs of the Sami.

In the village you will meet real reindeer, pet them and feed them your favorite delicacy, yagel.

You will take part in a master class on cooking Sami cuisine and learn secret northern recipes, and then go to lunch in Chuma, where you will have a meal by a live campfire. There is a unique atmosphere in which you will taste dishes prepared according to ancient traditions.

The program ends with a return to the center of Murmansk. This is the final day of our journey!

You can plan a flight for this day after 18:00, but you won't want to leave – now the north will forever capture a part of your heart.
