Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to the Far North, to the hero city of Murmansk!
Arrival in Murmansk.
We recommend arriving in Murmansk before 16:00 on the first day so that you can check into the hotel, relax and leave your things.
The transfer is not included in the price of the tour. You get to Murmansk on your own. Yandex taxi services operate in the region.
Welcome Arctic dinner at a restaurant in the center of Murmansk. Included in the price of the tour. We will try the Arctic cuisine and get to know the team.
If the forecast is favorable, go on a tour to hunt for the northern lights. The duration of the tour is 3-5 hours. Photography is included in the price of the tour.
The tour program includes 2 trips to hunt for the northern lights without additional charges, which significantly increases our chances of catching it!
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and no one can guarantee its appearance. If we do not see the northern Lights during hunting trips, then there are no discounts and refunds.
How the Northern Lights tour is going:
The gathering of tourists takes place in the parking lot at the entrance to the Azimut hotel (in the center of Murmansk). Approximate time of the training camp: 20:00-22:00. The exact time and place of the training camp will be announced by the coordinator the day before.
Let's go on tour! The duration of the hunt is 3-5 hours, depending on how quickly we find a clear sky. The northern lights themselves can appear at any moment!
Photography is included in the price of the tour. First, we will take group photos, then individual ones on a first-come, first-served basis.
To keep warm, you will be offered hot tea with light snacks (sweets, chocolate, cookies).
After this tour, you will be taken to your place of residence in Murmansk.
You will receive photos within 3-4 days after the end of the tour in the format of the references to Google Drive, Yandex Disk or other cloud storage.

Day 2 - Teriberka, the edge of the earth and a boat trip with a whale search
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide.
Departure to Teriberka.
Please do not be late and come 10 minutes before the start of the program. The exact time and place of the training camp will be announced by the coordinator the day before.
The average journey time to Teriberka is 3 hours, including stops (130 km on the way).
Along the way, we make stops in picturesque places to observe the amazing landscapes of the Arctic tundra, enjoy the lakes and the northern expanses.
Arrival in Teriberka, and the first location to visit is the eternal parking lot of abandoned fishing ships ("graveyard of ships").
Then we go to the pier, where a boat is waiting for us, on which we will go in search of whales.
If access to the sea is not possible due to weather conditions, the tour program will be changed to an extended walking tour.
Attention! The berths do not have convenient access to boats due to strong tides. We'll have to go down the steep stairs. All berths in Teriberka were equipped for fishing and the corresponding boats.
The duration of the boat trip is approximately 2 hours. If we are lucky, we will see whales, dolphins and other marine life in the Barents Sea.
Arctic lunch at a local restaurant (included in the price).

Return to Murmansk. Free time.
Under favorable weather conditions, we go hunting for the northern lights. In total, the program provides 2 (two) hunting trips.

Day 3 - Majestic and ancient Khibiny Mountains
Early rise, packing, breakfast. We have a very busy day ahead of us!
Let's go to the Khibiny Mountains! The average journey time to Kirovsk is 3 hours (220 km on the way).
Arrival in the city of Kirovsk.
If possible, climb to the top of the mountain on the funicular of the Big Wood ski slope, from where, in clear weather, we will have panoramic views of the expanses of the Kola Peninsula. Important: the funicular may not work.
A panoramic tour on an all-terrain vehicle without difficult physical exertion OR, in adverse weather conditions, a visit to the installation "Mysterious Forest" or the Botanical Garden.
Lunch at a restaurant on the top of the mountain (if the lift is not working, lunch at a restaurant on the ground).
Return to Murmansk to the Azimut hotel, completion of the tour.
Under favorable weather conditions, we go hunting for the northern lights. In total, the program provides 2 (two) hunting trips.

Day 4 - Trekking tour to the ancient Lovozero tundra
We get up early, have breakfast and prepare to embark on our first day tour to the Lovozero tundra.
Gathering of guests in Murmansk in front of the entrance to the Azimut hotel. The exact time and place will be announced by the coordinator the day before.
Travel time is approximately 2.5 hours.
We arrive in the village of Revda, from where the main part of the program begins. Passage to the beginning of the ascent into the tundra.
We begin our trekking to the top of Mount Alluive. A walk along the plateau to the circus (a hollow in the form of an amphitheater), which offers an incredible view of the expanses of the Kola Peninsula.
After the end of the trekking, lunch in the lunch boxes.
Group transfer to the airport after the end of the tour on the last day of the tour.
Completion of the program. May the North be with you!
Important! If the tour to the Lovozero tundra does not take place due to bad weather (strong wind, rain, fog, etc.), we will replace the excursion program of this day.
Attention! Trekking tour to the Lovozero tundra requires minimal physical training! If you have physical activity restrictions and other nuances, then be sure to warn the booking department manager about this before making an advance payment.

This year, I finally fulfilled a dream of visiting the Arctic Circle! A friend and I chose a summer trip to the North: 'Whales, Teriberka and Waterfalls.' We booked through the tour operator 'Big Country' and were really pleased with the experience. In just four days, we collected so many incredible memories: we saw stunning waterfalls, learned fascinating facts about the unique tundra landscape, went on a whale-watching boat ride, took amazing photos at Dragon Egg Beach, visited an indigenous Sami house and enjoyed delicious traditional dishes. We were thrilled with the trip! Special thanks to our guide Victor, who shared so many interesting stories, answered all our questions and led the tour with real passion! We stayed at the Azimut Hotel, which was great. Everything was well-organized with no issues at all—I loved it all!
