Arzhaan means "holy water, mineral water, healing spring".

Meeting with the shaman who will accompany the group further.

Before lunch, stop at the breathtaking Khayyrakan Mountain, one of the holiest and most revered places in Tuva. In 1992, it was chosen as an energetically strong place and consecrated by the Dalai Lama XIV.

At least once a year, local shamans come here to recharge their batteries, strengthen and purify their spirits.

After breakfast, drive to the Shivilig mineral spring, visit the spring, then, together with the guide, the group goes on a hike to the next Churek-arzhan mineral spring.

This is a weakly radioactive source, where the water temperature ranges from zero to 9 ° C, and the radon content corresponds to the lower limit for medicinal waters of this type. While visiting the springs, tourists will learn about their medicinal properties and methods of treatment at the springs.

Return to the camp, lunch.

Participation in the preparation for the rite of sacrifice.

The ceremony is usually performed at night or for several nights. Another option is in a yurt with a lighted hearth, or in a sacred place in the presence of many people. To the sound of a tambourine, the shaman emits screams, imitating the cries of a crow or a cuckoo.

These birds give the shaman the ability to compose songs. Then the shaman sits with his back to the fire or to those present, knocks softly and steadily on the tambourine and conducts a conversation with his ehrens.

The shaman makes offerings to the helper spirits. To do this, with a special spatula, he sprinkles milk on the four cardinal points and burns pieces of meat and bread in the fire. Then the food is tasted by those present.

The shaman's rite of worship is associated with the achievement of two goals: healing rituals and cult rituals.

This may be a cult of fire, mountains, sacred trees, or individual ancestral patrons. In all cases, the ritual follows approximately the same pattern: purification – summoning the appropriate spirits – searching for the cause of the disease, or religious consecration – expelling hostile spirits – divination about the outcome of the ritual and the fate of those present – the departure of the shaman.

After breakfast, the shaman will conduct a seminar on the attributes of shamanic clothing.

After lunch, have a short rest and walk in the fresh air. Later in the evening, the shaman will reveal the secrets and methods of fortune-telling on the stones.

Ritual kamlaniya is performed mainly for the purpose of healing people, less often in connection with failures, livestock deaths, fortune-telling, etc.

Shamans are very practical people and will not speak abstractly, without a specific goal, and once again disturb the spirits. After the ceremony, it is possible to attend individual receptions (additional fee).

On the way, tourists will see the center of Buddhist culture, the restored Ustuu-Khure monastery.

There was no such thing not only in Tuva, but also throughout the former Soviet Union. In 1930, after the adoption of a special decree, Ustuu-Khure was closed, and in 1937 it was demolished.

In 1999, the Russian government, recognizing the historical and architectural value of the unique Ustuu-Khure temple, decided to restore it. In July 2012, during the celebration of the music festival of the same name, the Ustuu-Khure temple was officially opened.

In the evening, arrive at the Chalama Hotel.

Immediately after breakfast, the group will go to visit an artisan, where you can learn the secrets of making shamanic tambourines.

Walk around the city, visit souvenir shops.

Lunch at the restaurant.

During lunch, we will have a real Tuvan tea ceremony.

During the ceremony, you will hear a story about the methods of making and brewing Tuvan national tea with milk and salt, learn about the history of tea in Tuva, tea legends and parables.

So that the life of our guests would be as bright as white milk, so that the spirits of heaven and earth would contribute to the successful resolution of cases, so that travel would be unhindered.

Together with tea, you will get a taste of the rich culture of the Tuvan people, experience the amazing land of steppes and open spaces of Tuva.

Next, you will visit the National Museum of Tuva, where exhibits from the Arzhaan-2 mound are kept, including jewelry of the legendary Gold of the Scythians.

The Scythian Gold tour is dedicated to the famous Argan II mound, which was excavated in 2000-2003 by Hermitage specialists in collaboration with the German Archaeological Institute.

The treasures found in the mound (more than 20 kg of gold items in total) have become a real sensation in the archaeological world.
