The route is characterized by a variety of natural landscapes of Yakutia: mountain rivers, ice, lakes, mountain valleys, alpine meadows, canyons, rocks...

There are many wild animals here: snow sheep, giant moose, musk deer. On the route, you can meet nomadic reindeer herding families and get to know their way of life.

In June, the mountains come alive with colorful colors, and the rare Ammosov sailboat butterfly, found only here, begins to fly.

The route schedule is designed in such a way that a tourist can, without bothering to travel long distances, get to know the area better and spend more time contemplating the beauty of the Yakut mountains. The itinerary includes two days of rest.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Transfer to the Vostochnaya weather station
06:00 Pick-up and departure from the stop "Academic Russian Drama Theater", Lenin Avenue, 21.
The route runs along the famous Kolyma highway.
There are two ferry crossings across the Lena River (15 km) and Aldan River (1.5 km) on the way.
A road begins from the village of Khandygi, which was built by GULAG prisoners in the 40s of the XX century. During these years, camps were located along the road every 20-30 km, which were subsequently liquidated after Stalin's death.
The route passes through the Tomporuksky, Rocky Mountains and Suntar Khayata ranges. On the way, stops in picturesque places for photography.
Upon arrival in the area of the weather station located on the watershed of the Lena and Indigirka river basins, campsite, dinner, overnight.
Route length: 674 km
Day 2 - The transition to Lake.Tuneride
In the morning, preparing for the hike, distributing food and general equipment among the participants of the hike.
Today, the path lies along the tractor road along the valley of the Kyubyama River. The area is open.
The road is swampy in places. Grayling can be seen in the rivers at this time.
Camping on the lake shore. Here you can fish for char: in the lake there is a common char-malma and a red–listed type of char - Arctic char (top).

Day 3 - Crossing to the Nekuchan river
Since the hike takes place in June, there is still snow on the slopes of the mountain. During the day, due to the melting of snow on the rivers, the water level is significantly added and therefore, starting today, the ascent must be done at 5:00 a.m. in order to make crossings over the rivers at low water levels.
Today, tourists will see beautiful high ice on the route. The height of the ice is 5 meters. There are also underground ice nearby – this is not permafrost, but a type of ice-the formation of ice under the soil in places where groundwater exits.
Another ice is located in the area of the confluence of the rivers Kharchan and Nekuchan.
Parking is 1 km above the mouth of the Nekuchan river.

Day 4 - Up the Necuchan
Today, the route passes through the gorge of the Nekuchan river. A gradual ascent begins from this place.

Day 5 - The day
Today is a rest – after three days of the pawn, you need to rest your body + prepare it for storming the pass.
Day 6 - Uncuchan
Ascent to the Three Grandmothers pass. The height of the pass is 2030 m.
Setting up a camp at the top of the pass under the Kharchan mountain.
Route length: 7 km
Day 7 - Mount Harchan, 2,351 m
Climbing Mount Harchan.
From the campsite to the top of the mountain is only 320 meters. There is a panoramic view from the height of the mountain.

Day 8 - Descent from the pass along the Amkynya river
Today the trail goes down. You can walk the route before lunch and have a rest after lunch.

Day 9 - Amkynya-lake
Today we are going to cross the pass between the Amkynya and Setinya rivers with an ascent. There is a small ascent to the valley of the lake beyond the Setinya River.
Overnight on the lake shore.
Route length: 6 km
Day 10 - The day
A day of rest for the body.
The lake may contain fish, because Malma char is found in such lakes. This char is caught on a spinner spinner.
Day 11 - Detkan Lake-Neyakan
Today we will descend to the valley of the Surek river, and then climb the pass separating Surek from the Neyakana valley.
Route length: 9 km
Day 12 - Neyakan-Surek
Today's route runs along the Surek River. There is a very beautiful mountain valley here.
Route length: 10 km
Day 13 - Surek-Vostochnaya weather station
Today is the last camping day.
After descending the mountain, the group will have to cross the Nekunya River. In the spring, in the afternoon and evening or after rains, the water in the river may rise and therefore it is recommended to cross the river early in the morning.
Route length: 6 km
Day 14 - To Yakutsk
In the morning, a minibus (Toyota-Hayes) will arrive for the group.
Arrival in Yakutsk late at night.
