This tour is the least suitable for traveling with children. Accompanying parents are responsible for them on the tour.
- Dropping off in an all-terrain vehicle means that the group is traveling off-road for three hours in a Gaz or UAZ, shaking very hard, nausea may occur, and the car may get stuck and spend more time on the road.
- Accommodation in the tour in the mountain center at an altitude of 2200 m - there are, of course, not tents, but warm cottages, there are even bed linen, but a bathroom in a separate unit on the territory, how convenient will it be with children?
- Glacier trekking is a radial mountain exit, 5 km in one direction (the entire route is 10 km), an altitude climb of 700 m, it can be difficult to walk even for adults, you need at least basic mountain training or average physical. In May, there is still snow in the mountains, if the children in the group indulge and run away from the route, they may fall through the snow or (which is much more dangerous) into a crack.. Our agency and guide do not take responsibility for children. This responsibility lies with their parents, and they will need all the necessary accompanying documents.
Perhaps tourists with children will not go climbing to the glacier, they will just stay in the alpine camp, admire the beauty and walk around the territory, this also happens in our tours, then we need to provide only the first two points.
Usually, if tourists with children are booked on a tour to Actra, then we take one child over 8 years old into the group, accompanied by their parents and under their responsibility, there was no other experience.
There are no discounts for children.
Conclusion: it is possible to consider other more convenient options, the Altai real tour for the same dates is less complicated, but also very interesting!
Or the Lower Katun tour, where there are almost no difficulties and risks at all.
