After breakfast and packing, we set off along the main artery of Gorny Altai, the legendary road, where every kilometer offers incredible panoramic views!

The Chuisky tract is a real treasure trove, containing ancient secrets, mystical legends and amazing stories that our experts of the Altai land will tell with awe.

The Seminsky pass meets us at a dizzying height of 1,717 meters!

Here, among the centuries-old cedars and majestic mountains, you will feel like the hero of an adventure novel.

The panoramic platforms offer spectacular views of the eastern slopes of the Terektinsky Ridge.

Here you will touch the history of the ancient wheeled Chuya highway, along which caravans once passed.

The Katuni Valley welcomes us with its unearthly beauty!

We will make stops in the most picturesque places to capture these magical moments in memory and in photographs.

Maly Yaloman will present us with a meeting with the majestic "Katun bend" — a natural masterpiece that makes the heart stop.

The sanctuary of Adyr-Kan is an ancient place of power, where stone warriors, mysterious petroglyphs and ancient burial structures have been preserved.

The confluence of the Chuya and Katuni rivers is a sacred place where two mighty rivers meet, creating an amazing natural phenomenon: their waters flow side by side without mixing, creating an amazing contrast of colors!

In the evening, we will have a cozy rest at the base, where we can share our impressions and immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Altai hospitality.

Difficulty of the day: crossing 340 km — travel time, including stops, is 9-10 hours; the mountainous area of the Seminsky pass is characterized by sharp temperature fluctuations and has a harsher climate than in the valleys.

Breakfast — and we're off on the most mysterious journey!

Today we are waiting for a mysterious land where nature has created landscapes that seem to have descended from the canvases of fantastic worlds, similar to the exotic landscapes of distant Mongolia.

The Kurai steppe will greet us with a majestic sight — the grandiose glaciers of the North Chuisky Range, the largest in Central Asia!

Here, among the vast expanses, you will feel like a tiny grain of sand in the ocean of natural power.

A space adventure awaits us in the valley of the Kyzyl-Chin River!

We transfer to UAZ all-terrain vehicles and embark on a journey through the Altai Mars.

The use of this transport is mandatory for visiting this location, as conventional transport will not be able to overcome the difficult terrain. During the high season, it is possible to increase the waiting time for transport.

Imagine: the red, orange, and purple hues of the rocks create a landscape that looks like it came from photographs of distant planets.

No wonder the locals call this place the "Red Gorge" — a breathtaking sight!

The blue oasis awaits us after lunch!

A mysterious lake on the Mena River will reveal its secrets.

Underground springs work wonders — they paint bizarre patterns of blue-white clay on the bottom, creating unique paintings that change every day!

Return to the cozy campsite, where you will have time to immerse yourself in your impressions and share your emotions with new friends.

And if there is still a lot of energy left, then you can go on an additional tour of the Aktau Repeater (the tour is conducted at the request of the group and for an additional fee).payment is subject to favorable weather conditions).

We will take off—road cars to one of the peaks of the Kurai range - Verkhnaya Mountain.

Here, a 360° panorama of the surroundings opens up: the spacious Chuya Valley and the North Chuya Ridge rising behind it, the peaks of which are covered with snow all year round.

On the other sides are the peaks of the Kurai range.

In clear weather, you can see Belukha, the highest peak of Gorny Altai, 4506 m, beyond the North Chuisky Ridge.

Impressions of the day: Geyser Lake; Kuraiskaya and Chuiskaya steppe; Severo-Chuisky ridge; "Altai Mars".

Difficulty of the day: walking 5-7 km per day, elevation drop of 200 m; car 170 km, including moving to UAZ- loaf 30 km dirt road.

Today we have to go to one of the most beautiful places in the Altai Republic – the valley of the Chulyshman River.

This is a unique opportunity to get to know the majestic nature of Altai, learn more about its history and culture, and enjoy the breathtaking views.

There are several stops planned along the way to admire the beautiful scenery and take photos.

The red gate will be the first to greet us — a majestic natural portal painted in fiery tones.

This is not just a natural landmark, but a real symbol of the Ulagan district — the gateway to the mysterious land of a thousand lakes.

The alpine lakes of the Ulagan plateau will amaze you with their beauty:

• The mysterious Dead Lake.
• The Emerald Lake.
• Elegant Uzun-Kel.
• Majestic Kidel-Kel.

The Pazyryk mounds are unique witnesses to the ancient history of Altai.

Here, among the eternal mountains, the secrets of the Scythian warriors are hidden, whose peace has been guarded for more than two millennia.

The viewing platforms of the Katu-Yaryk pass are a moment worth taking this trip for!

Imagine: You are standing on the edge of a cliff, 800 meters above the ground, and a breathtaking view opens up in front of you.

The Chulyshman Valley stretches below, like a precious box hidden among the mountains.

Everyone who finds themselves here experiences unique emotions.

The heart freezes with delight when the gaze covers the vast expanses, and the soul is filled with a sense of freedom and grandeur of nature.

The final chord of the day is a walking descent along the Katu-Yaryk serpentine to the picturesque Chulyshman valley.

In the evening, a well—deserved rest at a cozy base, where you can share your impressions and gain strength for new adventures.

Difficulty of the day: 100 km car ride, including 50 km dirt road; 3.5 km foot descent into the valley; height difference – 800 m.

After breakfast, we will go to the Kurkure waterfall, one of the most beautiful and powerful waterfalls in the Altai Mountains, reaching a height of 30 meters.

The trail runs along the banks of the Chulyshman River, and since there is no uphill climb, you can enjoy the scenic views of the mountains and the river.

If desired, you can camp by the water in the shade of the trees.

Free time after lunch.

For those who want to diversify their vacation and get unforgettable impressions, we offer a walking rafting trip (extra charge, starting from 2000 per person) along the majestic Chulyshman River with a visit to the Tyul waterfall.

The wide Tyul waterfall, also known as Chul-Oozi, is located on the right bank of the Chulyshman River, in a secluded place where its waters descend from the rocky ledges of the Katuyaryk River.

The waterfall is notable for its almost complete absence of splashes, which allows you to take high-quality photos a few meters away from it without fear of getting wet.

Impressions of the day: Kurkure waterfall.

Difficulty of the day: radial exit 2.5 km in one direction over rough terrain; there is no height difference.

At 9:00 we vacate the rooms, have breakfast and go deep into the Chulyshmansky canyon.

On the way, we will stop on the banks of the Chulyshman River and from the observation deck we will be impressed by one of the largest waterfalls in Russia — Kuluzun and the power of the Tudan rapids.

Then a walking tour in the Ak-Kurum tract to the Stone mushrooms.

The unusual rock formations resemble mushrooms, thanks to their “caps“ and "legs".

They seem to live their own lives, changing shape and size under the influence of natural forces.

Going up to the Stone Mushrooms, we will enjoy a stunning view of the winding waters of the Chulyshman River and its quiet tract.

After lunch we go to the southern shore of Lake Teletskoye — Cape Kyrsai.

Check-in at the base, rest.

Impressions of the day: Stone mushrooms; Tudan baths, after which you can plunge into the refreshing waters of Lake Teletskoye. threshold; Teletskoye Lake.

Difficulty of the day: dirt road, rocks, dust; radial exit to Stone mushrooms - 2.5 km, rough terrain; height difference — 500 m.

We pack up, have breakfast and go on the final excursion of our trip.

A boat is already waiting at the pier (for groups of 5 people or more. For groups of less than 5 people, a comfortable ferry ride with a car is organized without visiting waterfalls).

Ahead is an unforgettable walk along Lake Teletskoye, also known as Altyn Kel – “Golden Lake".

During the trip, we will discover one of the secrets of the Altai Nature Reserve – the accessible and spectacular Korbu waterfall.

We will admire the small waterfalls Ayu-Kechpes, Kishte and Maiden tears directly from the water.

It was as if they deliberately hid from people in the rocks, but left the opportunity to admire their beauty.

We will dock in Artybash village, wait for the ferry, and with a lot of emotions and a lot of memories, we will return to the capital of the Altai Republic.

Estimated time of arrival in Gorno-Altaysk is 19:00-20:00.

Difficulty of the day: the weather on Lake Teletskoye is changeable: the sun can abruptly change to a downpour and vice versa. For comfort in all weather conditions, closed boats with panoramic windows are used on water excursions; moving by car – 160 km, poor road surface.
