Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. The bison reserve. The Seminsky pass. Chike-Taman Pass. Ilgumen rapids
08:35-09:30 Meeting at the airport of Gorno-Altaisk.
09:30-10:30 Transfer.
10:30-11:30 Stop for breakfast at a cafe.
Today we are moving to the Ulagan district of Altai.
On the way, you will visit the Bison Sanctuary, where 48 bison live (this animal species is on the verge of extinction).
You will be able to see these majestic animals and treat them to apples.
Next, our road will lie through the Seminsky Pass (1717 m), where the Olympic Reserve biathlon base and a large souvenir market are located.
Lunch (extra charge).
Visit the charming Chike-Taman pass.
A walk to the Ilgumen rapids.
Check-in at the campsite "River lands" or similar.
Dinner at the cafe.

Day 2 - Shirlak Waterfall. The Kalbak-Tash rock art complex. New Year's Eve celebration in geokupol
Morning coffee and breakfast with a view of the snow-covered Christmas trees.
In the morning we will take a walk to the Shirlak waterfall.
Next, we will find the ancient way that traders traveled to Mongolia and admire the panorama of the Chuya River.
We will take a tour of the Kalbak-Tash rock art complex, where over 5,000 petroglyphs have been preserved, from the Stone Age to the present day.
We will visit the place of power at the confluence of two stormy rivers – Katuni and Chuya.

Day 3 - Geyser lake. Panorama of the North Chui ridge
Breakfast.
A walk to the geyser lake (hidden), at the bottom of this lake lies blue clay, which gives it such a deep color.
A tour of the magnificent panorama of the North Chuya ridge and a walk right across the green ice of the Chuya River towards the Maashe glacier.
Lunch (extra charge).
Visit to the Chui steppe and the village of Kosh-Agach.
Watching New Year's movies with cocoa and gingerbread.
Excursions: 1. Geyser Lake; 2. Panorama of the North Chuya ridge; 3. Walk on the ice of the Chuya River.

Day 4 - The Pazyryk mounds. Chulyshman River Valley
Breakfast.
We will go along an unusually beautiful route, through a narrow gorge between the rocks.
Visit to the red gate, mercury lake.
After crossing the Ulagan Pass, we will see the legendary Pazyryk burial mounds, shrouded in a veil of secrets – the valley of the burial of Scythian leaders.
According to scientists, the age of some mounds is more than 2000 years old.
Lunch – lunch boxes (not included in the price).
Next, we will visit one of the most beautiful places in the Altai Mountains – the valley of the Chulyshman river.
There are stunning views from there.
Return trip.
Supper.

Day 5 - The Chuisky tract. Uch Enmek Nature Park. Arrival in Gorno-Altaysk
Breakfast, packing up.
Return trip along the Chui highway.
Sightseeing tour of the Uch Enmek Nature Park.
You will get acquainted with one of the most sacred and mystical places in Altai, you will see the most ancient archaeological sites over the mystery of which scientists are still puzzling.
Transfer to Gorno-Altaysk (380 km).
Arrival in Gorno-Altaysk at approximately 17.30.
Accommodation at the Igman Hotel.
