Symbols of Altai. Sightseeing tour

After breakfast we drive to the village of Barangol.

We will have a walking tour through the forest area to the Kamyshlinsky waterfall with a height of about 18 m.

We cross the Katun suspension bridge to the wooded shore, and then follow a forest path about 2.5 km to the waterfall.

In the coniferous forest, even in the heat, it is cool and smells fresh, the closer to the water, the more.

After admiring the waterfall, under the jets of which you can even refresh yourself, we return to the shore.

We will return by motorboat. It's not only fast, but also fun.

Transfer to the bison nursery in Kamlak village.

After lunch at a cafe, we drive to the territory of the Manzherok all-season resort.

Lift to the observation deck of Malaya Sinyukha mountain.

From a height of 1,020 m, there is a view of the Katun River valley, Manzherok village, lake of the same name, and mountain ranges.

Transfer to the eco-hotel "Taezhnik".

Today, our program will take place along the Chuisky highway, one of the most beautiful roads in the world.

During the trip, guests of Altai will visit the most popular and beautiful objects located along the road, which will make the move not tedious.

The first stop on the route will be the Seminsky Pass, the highest along the entire Chuisky Tract (1,717 m).

After a short tour of the pass, during which you can buy souvenirs, wool products and nature gifts from the region, travelers will go to the village of Karakol, near which there is a monument to the children of the war "Boy and Gopher".

The monument is located on a small hill overlooking the Karakol Valley.

After lunch we go to the top of the pass.

An excursion to the observation deck overlooking the old Chuisky tract.

After returning to the bus, we continue on our way to the confluence of the Chuya and Katun rivers, where you can take a lot of beautiful photos.

The next stop on the way will be the Kalbak-Tash tract, where travelers will get to know the culture of ancient people by visiting a cluster of rock carvings with the guide of the complex.

Then we proceed to the tourist complex, where you will find accommodation in rooms.

Departure for an excursion.

The first stop will be an excursion to the lake, which tourists call "geyser lake". Of course, there are no geysers there: the air escaping from the bottom of the lake from the blue clay creates an illusion, and the clay raised from the bottom forms bizarre shapes.

Then the guests proceed to the village of Chagan-Uzun, where they transfer to off-road vehicles (UAZ) and embark on a trip to the Martian lands of Altai.

After walking around the red earth and taking a lot of vivid photos, the group returns to the UAZ trucks and rides them to the bus.

After lunch, an excursion to the Red Gate and one of the lakes of the Ulagan district — the Dead One.

The Red Gate is a section of the Ulagan highway, which is bounded by red rocks, their shades and brightness depend on weather conditions and time of day.

Return to the tourist complex. Tea party by the campfire.

Chuisky highway doubles again!

After breakfast, we check out of the rooms. We will return to the Taezhnik eco-hotel. However, we won't be bored on the way back!

We will see a legendary and picturesque place — the monument to Kolka Snegirev, better known as the monument to the drivers of the Chuisky Highway.

Kolka Snegirev is the hero of the legendary song "There is a road along the Chuisky Tract", which appeared in Altai in the 30s of the last century, when Soviet trucks rumbled along the Chuisky tract.

We will make a couple of stops to admire the Katun terraces.

Next, we will leave at the Stirrup monument — in the Kur-Ketchu tract. It was in these places that stirrups made of iron plates were found in the mounds.

We will cross the Chike-Taman pass again.

We cross the Seminsky pass again. Arrival at the hotel.

We give guests the opportunity to relax in the afternoon, if desired, you can take an additional excursion, horseback riding or rafting, all for an additional fee.

In the morning, the group goes to the Tavda caves, where they will have a tour of the tunnels where the ancient people were found.

This is an array of a large number of caves (about 30) of karst origin. Most of them are easily accessible. The entrances to some of them are even equipped with steps, and light is provided there.

You can look into the underground passages without risking your life. Still, some difficulties will have to be overcome. For example, walk through a narrow passage 12 m long. Or climb up the "goat trail".

After that, we will go to the apiary, where the guests of Altai will be told about the life of the little miners of delicious honey.

If you want to find out how many kilometers a bee flies per day, how much honey can be obtained from one hive, and how to distinguish a real product from a fake one, ask these and other questions to the owners of the Altai apiary.

It is also possible (and necessary!) to purchase beekeeping products here, because honey is another business card of Altai.

Five picturesque waterfalls: Kishte (8 m), Korbu (12.8 m), Ayu-Kechpes (80 m), Chodor (8 m) and Estube (8 m).
