A week in Belokurikha. Sightseeing tour to Altai

Today we will go to Belokurikha and get acquainted with the blooming valley and a unique recreation area — Altai Kholmogorye. During the tour you will learn the history of the resort, hear the legends about it and get acquainted with the infrastructure.

Then we will visit Gornaya Belokurikha, a new resort under construction. The ascent will be along a serpentine path. The place where the rock stood in the early 2000s is now home to one of the most beautiful passes in the Siberian region.

We will overcome 12 turns of the serpentine and 62 angles of rotation. For the convenience and safety of drivers and passengers, there are four "pockets" and three observation decks with stunning views of the serpentine.

Today we will have a fascinating acquaintance with the Altai Mountains, and we will drive about 360 km. First, we will go to the Tavda caves, which will amaze us with their winding passages and incredible views from above.

The ascent to the caves is carried out by convenient stairs. For those who prefer less active activities, a walk to the Katun River through a pine forest is an excellent option.

Then we will have a pleasant entertainment — we will cross the Katun River on motorboats to Kamyshlinsky waterfall, where fluffy rabbits are jumping merrily in the surrounding area. A motorcycle ride will give you a lot of vivid emotions!

In the village of Chemal, we will get acquainted with the unique island of Patmos, where the temple is located on the Katun River. We will walk to it via a suspension bridge. After that, we will walk along the goat trail along the Katun River, from where a magnificent view of the picturesque valley opens from the observation deck.

We have lunch at a cafe that serves delicious dishes. We will return to the resort late, where we will have dinner at the hotel cafe.
