Itinerary

Day 1 - The Gorge of Spirits. Sartakpaya Valley
08:30-10:50 Meeting at the airport of Gorno-Altaysk.
10:50-12:30 Transfer to the Territory of Happiness Hotel (1.5 hours).
12:30-13:30 Lunch at a cafe (extra charge).
12:00-15:00 Rest after moving/ flying.
15:00-18:00 Guided tour of the gorge of mountain spirits – a place of strength for the Altai people.
In the gorge, we will visit the stream of health, a frozen waterfall, and an observation deck with stunning views of the Katun River Valley.
18:00-19:00: Return to the hotel.
19:00-21:30 Dinner by the fireplace, mulled wine and evening socializing.
Accommodation: mountain hotel "Territory of Happiness", Chemalsky district, Republic of Tatarstan. Altai, double room, room facilities or similar.
Meals: dinner.
Excursions: gorge of mountain spirits.

Day 2 - Blue lakes. Manzherok ski resort or a walk to Kamyshlinsky waterfall and bison reserve to choose from
A delicious breakfast with a view of the frozen river and the Christmas trees in the frost.
A walk on the ice of Katun to the blue lakes, poetically called the Eyes of Katun.
Indeed, if you look at the lakes and the nearby Katun River from above, the lakes are very similar to the eyes.
The bravest can swim in the clear blue water (t +9 degrees), there is a sauna nearby.
Next, you will find a program to choose from, depending on your preferences.:
Option 1: Manzherok Ski Resort.
Here you can try out skiing, snowboarding or tubing on modern trails of various difficulty levels (the approximate opening time of the winter season at the resort is December 05-10, before this period only option 2 can be considered).
All services of the ski complex are paid additionally, according to the rates of the ski complex.
Option 2: Walk to Kamyshlinsky waterfall and Zubrov reserve.
Walk through the winter forest to the frozen Kamyshlinsky waterfall.
The bison sanctuary is home to 48 bison (this animal species is on the verge of extinction).
You will be able to see these majestic animals and treat them with apples.
Dinner cooked over a fire. A hot and beautiful sauna with a fireplace.
Accommodation: mountain hotel "Territory of Happiness", double (possibly triple and quadruple, as agreed), room facilities or similar.
Meals included: breakfast, dinner.
Excursions and activities: Blue Lakes – the eyes of Katun, an event to choose from – a ski resort or a walk to Kamyshlinsky waterfall + bison reserve.
By car: 80 km. Walking distance: 5 km.
Day 3 - A trip along the Chui highway
Breakfast, check out of the rooms.
Today we are leaving for another region of the Altai Republic.
Next, our road will pass through the Seminsky Pass (1,717 m), where the Olympic Reserve biathlon base and a large souvenir market are located.
A walk along the forest path.
Lunch (extra charge).
Sightseeing tour of Uch Enmek Nature Park.
You will get acquainted with one of the most sacred and mystical places in Altai, see the most ancient archaeological sites, the mystery of which scientists are still puzzling over.
Next, you will go to the border territories with Mongolia, there will be wonderful, fascinating landscapes outside the window.
Visit the place of power at the confluence of two rivers Chuya and Katun.
Check-in at the picturesque hotel with panoramic windows "River Lands".
Dinner at the cafe.
For an additional fee, it is possible to rent very beautiful panoramic private baths in the winter forest.
Excursions: Seminsky Pass; Uch Enmek Nature Park; Chike-Taman Pass; Ilgumen rapids; Tsaplinsky Bridge; Confluence of two rivers Chuya and Katuni.
Accommodation: Rechnye Zemlya hotel, double room, shower and toilet in the room or similar.
Meals included: breakfast, dinner.
By car: 350 km. Walking distance: 5 km.
Day 4 - Geyser lake. Chui Steppe
Breakfast.
Check out of the rooms.
A walk to the geyser lake (hidden), at the bottom of this lake lies blue clay, which gives it such a deep color.
Sightseeing of the magnificent panorama of the North Chuisky range.
Lunch (extra charge).
A trip to the border with Mongolia.
You will see how the landscapes outside the window will change, herds of camels will graze near the road, the snow will practically disappear, the mountains will acquire a different relief and color.
It is in this remote and inaccessible area that Red Book snow leopards, argali sheep and manul the cat live.
Return along the Chuisky highway to the hotel.
Dinner in the winter forest, tasting of tinctures.
For an additional fee, it is possible to rent very beautiful panoramic private baths.
Excursions: Geyser Lake; Panorama of the North Chuisky ridge; Sights of the Chuisky tract.
Accommodation: hotel "Rechnye Zemlya", double room, shower and toilet in the room or similar.

Day 5 - The red gate. Kidel Lake. Shirlak Waterfall
Breakfast with a view of the snow-covered forest and mountains.
Check out of the rooms.
In the morning we will go to the unusual Red Gate rock feature.
We will drive along a narrow and picturesque gorge, the road will gain altitude.
From the window you will see mountains, the purest snow, transparent lakes under the ice.
Stop at Kidel Lake.
Ascent to the Ulagan pass, a significant place of power for the Altai people.
From the height of the pass, fantastic views of hundreds of kilometers around open up, thoughts are cleared here, and the heart is filled with love for life and the surrounding space.
Stop for lunch at a cafe (extra charge).
Return along the Chuisky highway with a stop at the Shirlak waterfall and Ilgumen rapids.
Settling into the "Territory of Happiness".
Farewell dinner.
Excursions: Krasnye Vorota; Kidel Lake; Ulagan Pass; Shirlak Waterfall; Attractions of the Chuisky tract.
Accommodation: the Territory of Happiness hotel, double room, shower and toilet in the room or similar.
Meals included: breakfast, dinner.

Day 6 - Departure
08:00-08:45 Breakfast.

08:45-10:45 Transfer to Gorno-Altaysk airport.
Farewell to the participants departing on morning Aeroflot flights.
10:50-11:30 Transfer from Gorno-Altaysk airport to Gorno-Altaysk (bus station).

It's important to know

1. Group breakfasts take place at the campsite. If desired, you can choose a vegetarian type of food. The standard breakfast items are porridge, eggs (omelet or glaze), sliced (cheese, sausage, vegetables, fruits), boiled sausages, pancakes or cheesecakes, tea, coffee, water, milk. The names change depending on the camp sites where the group is located on each specific day of the tour.

2. Lunches take place between excursions. The group stops at cafes or canteens. The average cost of a complex meal (800-1500 rubles).

3. Dinners take place at the campsite. As a rule, this is a salad + a second course + a side dish + a bread basket, tea/ coffee. If desired, you can choose a vegetarian type of food.

4. If you follow a special diet – vegetarianism, lactose-free, gluten-free diet. Please note that the catering enterprises of the Altai Republic are in the initial stage of their development and are not adapted at all to any different types of food from the standard.

We can order vegetarian or lactose-free meals for you, but you must be prepared for the fact that they will be very modest in composition. In most cases, you will be served the same as the rest of the participants, but without meat or lactose. Gluten-free menus are even more difficult, as most employees of Altai food companies do not know what gluten-free dishes should look like. In relation
